We loved our stay here - the staff were all accommodating and the spa treatments were exceptional. I loved that they had a separate bar area in the spa! Next time I'd like to rent the bikes and take them into town. The whole area is beautiful and I'd love to see more of it. Also, be sure to try the little Italian restaurant right next to Mirbeau on the main road - so good!

We are here as I write this review. Beautiful grounds, ambiance is wonderful. Many thoughtful touches. Beds are lush and comfortable and the soaking tub is a dream. The robes are a luxurious touch and the food so far is delicious. The negatives and reason only three stars are as follows- there is a definite lack of maintenance that is a surprising contrast to the obvious care taken in the design and beauty of the grounds. The sinks do not drain well, the base of the faucets around the counters are in need of refinishing and the ceiling in our room has an area that is chipped and peeling. Additionally, while polite and professional, the restaurant service is a bit off. My morning tea got cold while I waited for cream that never came- I ended up getting up and getting it myself from the complimentary coffee bar at reception. My husband had to ask twice for his cranberry juice. Small error in our room service lunch as well. None of this is effecting our enjoyment of this lovely place but attention to this type of detail is what, for me, separates a five-star experience from a four. Enjoying our stay despite the small issues.

The spa, room and grounds were great. Nice cozy atmosphere and rooms. A great place to get away for a day or two. I would have given 5 stars but the beds are not great for side sleepers, way too hard. The only pillow option for a side sleeper was down and I'm allergic so I had to ball up a towel for a few nights to lay my head. Pro tip: BYOP (Bring Your Own Pillow)

Beautiful, upscale-rustic room. Very good food (we only had breakfast, can't speak for dinner). Excellent spa; For couples, we HIGHLY recommend "The Art of Living". Beautiful grounds. Quiet & peaceful. A 10 to 20 minute walk (with sidewalks) or a 5 minute drive to downtown Skaneateles. Friendly, responsive service. Taken altogether, it was an utterly relaxing and romantic stay.

Coming to this place for last ten years. There is no better spa on East Coast. Great service. Good people, that try to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Awesome location. Beautiful scenery around.
