Pacific Rim Cafe

Had a small bowl of vegetable Pho. So awesome my friend had the rare beef and the beef was so tender and flavorful. The small bowl was so large had to take home half. Also has a order of the shrimp wontons very flavorful but kind of small. The Thai iced tea had a great flavor.

Excellent Pho. This is the only restaurant that I have ever seen that has had Pho on the same menu as Toasted Reuben sandwiches! I had the small rare beef with extra noodles and a large chicken for my wife. (I perform cleanup duty when she can't finish and get both flavors). The service was fast and attentive. (We were in about 45 mins before closing. ) I wish they had a place like this near Seattle because I would visit it often.

Visiting Rapid City for work for a few days from Des Moines and decided this looked like a good dinner spot. It was a bit later on a Monday night, so they were not busy. Hostess/waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I order the spring rolls and the combination pho, and both were AMAZING. Spring rolls filling was perfect and I absolutely loved the peanut sauce. The pho was hot, fresh, and generously portioned. I might have to get another order of those spring rolls to go tonight...

One of the best pho broth I've tasted. Sping rolls are really good too!!! They put a fried egg roll wrap in the middle to make it crunchy. I do this at home, and this is the only restaurant that I've came across that does this too.

Sadly I have to rate low, i have been to many viet restaurants as has my wife, and even vietnam, but the food here doesn't come close in taste to real pho or real banh mi. Let's start with the banh mi. It was at best a cheap knock off of a viet street vender banh mi. It taste terrible, there is no bbq pork or mayo, and has a basic sweet sour sauce that ruined the sandwich. Next the pho, it was taseless, and may have been just beef stock from Wal-Mart. My wife who is Vietnamese hated it as well. We had also ordered Viet spring rolls too, but they were terrible, they were crunchy due to some deep fried wonton wrappers in them which is weird for spring rolls. Lastly we orders crab ragoon...im just gonna say it was well over cooked deep fried, had waaay to much crab in it, and was unpleasant to eat. In 6 months, I'll give this place another chance, but until then if you go do not get pho or banh mi.
