Once upon a long time ago...this Denny's was a failure in all areas of a restaurant business. Say 4 years ago. Rumored to be going out of business because of lousy management, servers with mental issues who treated customers with little or no respect. Food was on and off when it came to being prepared right and if you pointed out a problem...you were made to feel "it was YOUR fault"! And service was just a meaningless "word"! They made you feel like you were doing them a favor to do business with them. In fact...I could feel the negativity from the servers when I walked through the door. That is why I never came back.... So this last week I just returned to Rapid and decided to see if anything had changed being it was still there. To my shock and utter surprise, I felt I was walking into a "new Denny's"! The waiting staff were friendly, professional but personal in that there was a genuine desire to serve you. No attitudes like before. No "passing the buck" when it came to assisting a customer. Say TEAMWORK! Great cooks! IF there was a problem...it was "fixed" immediately and with a "smile"! I met THE NEW manager and his assistants. ALL were involved and committed to making this Denny's into the kind of experience that would please every customer whether it be their taste buds or their interaction with the employee's which were all new and chosen to reflect just what the managers wanted! Outstanding results! Not perfect of course. When you are in the process of "raising a past business from the dead"...it takes time, work and commitment and that is what I experienced in a good way. Almost like being among family which is rare for ANY restaurant. This "New Denny's" I have no problem recommending to anyone and this from a USMC combat veteran!

Decent food for the price after the food mistakes were corrected. My Sirloin Steak was perfect but the bacon was barely cooked and floating in grease. The best part of our visit was a our server. Though we had a long wait she was a very attentive dynamite lady. Will eat there again in the future.

This was one of the dirtiest Denny's I've ever been to. The glasswear was caked with dried food, the silverware was dried with a film, and the restaurant itself smelled like the bathroom. The waitress and host were really friendly and helpful, but you could tell that the waitress she was used to people having a problem with the food and cleanliness. My daughter was pretty grossed out by the grapes she got at her meal as they all had their stems on them and had clearly not been rinsed. My Fit Slam was oily (eggs) and the turkey bacon extremely undercooked. I do not recommend this restaurant. This place needs shut down and scrubbed... badly. Completely new kitchen staff.

Stay away! Probably one of the worst ran restaurants I've ever witnessed. Host wasn't very friendly looked like she rolled out of bed and went to work. No smiles everyone has an attitude even as I was cashing out I heard a server vocally state just send me home. Open kitchen window/server galley concept I could hear the expo over and over say this meal is missing this item including my own meal. Kitchen staff seemed either they had no experience or didn't know anything about the menu.. I didn't hear any communication from the kitchen at all. I heard the server ask for two more slices of bacon and saw the cook just throw it in the window and heard hear say on a plate.. I won't be returning

Briefly after walking in we was seated quick, but not after a few annoyed glances from the waiters. The water tasted funky and my food was too expensive for the overall quality and taste. If you desperately need food then maybe, but I would avoid.
