Had a Mill St beer out in Cornwall and found out they have a Brewery in Ottawa. I was able stop in mid afternoon on a recent Tuesday. I grabbed a spot at the bar and had great service from Peter. I got two flights to try as many of their beers as I could. They had some very nice beers, the cream ale was a surprise standout. I also got a sausage roll appetizer, which I was unfamiliar with, but it was great. There's a lot of outdoor seating with some views of the river, also one dining area overlooks the water. Really glad I got the chance to stop in during my brief stay in Ottawa.

I’ve always enjoyed coming here to this fine establishment. The ambiance and location are great aspects about it. The service was excellent as was the food. Only gripe I have is that the addition of $6 for chicken on the nachos I found a bit silly because i could count on one hand how many chicken pieces were added.  In any case I enjoyed myself overall.

Had a really great dining experience here! We were seated over looking the water, which was a huge hit with our two-year-old! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and our little guy especially loved the Buddha bowl. Glad we chose to dine here :

My friend and I went to this pub expecting a decent meal after hearing positive things. What we got instead was some of the worst service I’ve experienced.nnWe stood at the counter for a full 10 minutes being completely ignored by staff who clearly saw us and chose not to acknowledge us. No greeting, no “we’ll be with you shortly”—nothing. Eventually, a staff member came over and bluntly told us there were no tables available, in a rude and dismissive tone.nnWhat made it even more frustrating was that there were clearly multiple empty tables both inside and outside. So either we were being lied to, or the place is being run in a completely disorganized way.nnThe real issue here isn’t even the table situation—it’s the attitude and lack of basic customer service. Being ignored and then spoken to rudely is unacceptable.nnAfter wasting about 20 minutes of our time, we left. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our family happened to drive by here after Winterlude and popped in for dinner. We were able to grab a table at a busy time and order relatively quickly. Unfortunately while there, all taps ran dry and so we were left with canned beers which is fine!. Overall, the food and beer are great. The atmosphere in the room overlooking the river is quite dark, but I'm sure is very lovely in the spring and summer months when it's lighter outside.
