Nice location. Came here with work colleagues for lunch. Was put in the basement with poor lightning and slow service. Drinks came and then a long wait for our food. Food and drinks were pretty standard pub fare although there were some interesting menu items like the lamb shanks. OK pub but nothing to write home about.

The servers are awful. One server, an older woman, either always forgets my order or forgets to bring my drink back with her. Another server I had once forgot always everything. Seems that's the theme with this place. I only go out of convenience and because I get 20% off food.. but even then. I barely ever go. Food isn't even that great either.

I went here on New Year's Eve before going to the fireworks show on Parliament. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The server provided excellent customer service and brought us multiple New Year's Eve party favors. The food was alright, but a little overpriced for the quality. I would go back again and recommend this location to friends.

I used to love going here but for the past 3 visits the food quality has declined to a point where I will now tell people NOT to go! I have lost one one of my pubs to eat at and only hope that this message will get through to management. Late this summer I was excited to bring my visitors from out of town for brunch on a nice Sunday but everyone's food ended up to be sub-standard. We had many of the menu selections and most of the plates were cold, missing items listed on the description of the dish, sparsely garnished and much less flavourful that in the past. It was not busy at the time so we could not write this experience off to the staff being overworked. Hope you can turn it around and I will look out to see if more positive comments start appearing and then maybe I will give it a try again.

Really good food. Good portion. This is a typical Cara restaurant that takes care of their customers. Our Server was really friendly and was there for us when we needed something.
