Midway State Park

It's a great place to take kids over 4 years old and under 10. Kids pretty much can ride all rides. The height restrictions are a little confusing and frustrating for children. It definitely could use some rehabilitation for some parts of the park, the gift shop building looked like it needed work. The arcade had a nice mix of classic/vintage video games like donkey Kong, off road, 1942, operation wolf. That took me back to being a kid again, it was nice to beat my kids at video games. FYI real bath rooms are down the hill towards the water front in a large white building that contains the gift, restaurant, etc. The area where the rides are just had Port a potties.

A great park if you have young children. My daughter talked about this for weeks after going to it. It reminds you of something you would see in home movies of kids playing in the thirties and forties. The rides are tailored for 2-6 year olds. A great park for a Saturday get away.

Historic and worth going to with younger children. Perfect for young families. Rides for even toddlers. Toddler-preteen age rides.
