Small park, but love to walk the point and watch the sunsets when I can't get to Allegany State Park.

Wonderful place to XC ski and Snow Shoed... great trails.. also dog friendly. Needs some trail cleanup after the last 2 snow storms but can always find a way around obstacles.

Such a beautiful park not used to its potential.  Long for a beach (yes, with SAND....remember SAND?).  Wish they'd open the beach house again and have bathrooms and (good) affordable food.  Could be so utilized.  A shame it isn't.  But it is beautiful.    Update:  Improvment made.  Good, reasonably priced food at marina.  Now waiting for that beautiful beach house to be utilized.  Onward!
