Very nice stay. Very clean and really nice , friendly people. Loved the center section of camping, halfway point to anywhere on grounds. Will definitely go there again.
Our experience was very negative for many reasons: older female staff rude; dock unsafe for lauching and no lite anywhere, extremely unsafe condition; too many go carts permitted dangerous situation and absolutely no monitoring; especially in mens bathroom sorry state of affairs, broken toilets and unclean always;
A quiet place with a lot of full time campers. Most sites are only 30amp. No wifi and good luck finding the office or the store. They do cater to the full time campers. On a good note they do have their own trash truck.
The camp restrooms are nasty due to the water being a pee color and the shower water is the exact same color as the toilet water. Me and my friends got a tent to stay in at an electrical & water site, the seasonal folks some are very nice and sweet and helped us with directions but also some people were rude and talked about us it seems unpleasant to stay
What we expected was to find a traditional RV park where we’re lined up looking at each other. What we experienced was a wonderful 100 acre lake front community. The park was built over 50 years ago with seasonal guests in park models or rv’s as the primary customers...long before 45’ motor homes were in existence. In addition to the numerous forrest setting sites the owner has done his best to accommodate us with a lake experience too. By carving out a few spots up front near the office they gave big rigs the option to see Lake Chautauqua and the sunrise without anyone in front of us. It’s a little close side to side but considering the view and overall untraditional neighborhood setting it was worth it. They host several complimentary events throughout the season, pick up garbage daily in the cleanest garbage truck I’ve ever witnessed, and keep the grounds manicured. There’s a lakeside pool, boat dock and ramp, and nice little store all in a quiet setting. We enjoyed our 3 night stop over very much.
Nice well equipped camp ground. It would be nice if they had 220 volt service.
Very overcrowded. No shade at out site. Sites are not laid out well, not even. You girl at gate sent us the wrong way to our site and we had to drive around to turn the hookups to the correct side. Roads are very narrow and between kids with bikes and teens with golf carts it was nearly impossible to get around. Our site was directly off the main road so traffic noise was constant. Mostly seasonal sites. The seasonal guy across from us blasted his radio even when he wasn't there. Didn't get to use any amenities as were over 2 miles away from them! If you like loud music and drinking late into the night this place is for you.
This place was amazing. So beautiful. Pretty big place and very well kept at that. Can’t beat having the lake right there and a great pool area also. A lot of nice things to do in the area as well. Owner Matt is awesome too. My camper got a flat while there, had a nail in it. He came up with a jack and took it off and plugged it for me. Just a great place with great service. Highly recommend to visit. I’ll be back for sure. Steve Pecori
First the weather was great last weekend. They moved me to 76 which is below a fishing pond and next to quiet neighbors. I heard the gurgling geysers and bullfrogs at night. The office staff was friendly on directing me to good fish fries. Camp has adequate sites and lots of trees. Access to fishing is easy. Pool looks inviting but didn’t use it. Will come back!
Nice large sites. 30 and 50amp available. Nice size pool, boat docks, playground, golf cart rental pricey, plenty of activities there and surrounding area, camp store. Average pricing per night of 45 to 60 dollars depending if you want full hookups or premium site.
