Midnight Magic Lingerie

I have lived in St. Albert the majority of my life, so I was aware of this store. In December, I was looking for a place to find a custom bra since becoming pregnant, and no major bra brand would fit anymore (Thyme Maternity, Victoria Secret, etc). I went into the store and was greeted very pleasantly. I clearly explained I was 3.5-4 months pregnant at the time, and did not have any bras that fit. I was looking to buy one or two (a black and nude/white for simplicity sake), also keeping in mind that as my pregnancy progresses, I would possibly need to buy a bigger cup size later on in the pregnancy. One of the ladies sized me and only pulled three different options, telling me they didn't have any for my size-I have a small band size but large cup size. I asked about ordering and she declined that as an option. I tried on one bra and I told her I felt the band size was too small, and expressed my concern that as I progress in pregnancy, if my ribs were to expand, this bra would unequivocally not fit. She reassured me it would stretch with my body and I had nothing to worry about. So, naturally, I bought the bra. I also ordered one in white. I got home and wore it for two days. It dug into my chest bones so deeply i had dark red marks, and I even had the clips on the first clasps (ie. I could not make the band any looser). I tried wearing it once more two weeks later but by then, the band did not even remotely fit (and I have not gained much weight being pregnant). I received a call mid January that the white bra was in. I told the lady on the phone my story and she felt so terrible she asked me to come in and she would see what they could do for me. I brought back the black bra, along with my receipt, and I tried on the black bra for her. She agreed I was fitted improperly and that my concerns were not addressed. She pulled many more options and more comfortable ones for me to try on, even offered to order bras in for me. Considering this was the complete opposite of what I was told during my first visit, I really did not know what to think. Moreover, since I had already spent $80 on that bra, I was really hesitant to spend another +$100 or more (the other bras were running $130 a piece), only to potentially be in the hole at least $180 as a worst case scenario. The lady assured me she would notify the store owner of my situation and see if there was anything they could do. That was in January. I have called once in Feb and once again today in March and I keep getting the same answer "the store owner is not in today". I find this to be extremely poor customer service to keep a client on the hook, waiting to hear back for a solution. Needless to say, I will NEVER recommend anyone shop at this store since they do not know how to properly size women, and the customer service on average is atrocious. Huge thumbs down for this store. Save yourself a trip and go to a store where they actually care about the customer, and have the knowledge to size you properly, especially if you are spending that kind of money.

I recently went in here for a nursing bra, with a 6 month old in tow. Service was excellent, professional, quick, and I got a well fitting bra. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that $70+ is more than I'm generally willing to spend on a bra. But, you do get what you pay for! I likely wouldn't purchase all my bras here but I will definitely be back in future. :)

I am very happy to know about this place. I just stepped inside to learn about the place and customer service i received was so good that am sure I'll return to shop soon. Debby , saleswoman was excellent. She explained what works best for me and educated about bodies and fitting. It shows that they really care . I would strongly recommend people who have fitting issues to try this place.

Helpful sales associates. Unfortunately, like many stores they just dont have much in my size.
