Visited this location to buy a pair of climbing shoes. Matt was the associate that helped me with this. He is extremely knowledgable and was able to help me in buying the correct size. Matt is super friendly and personable, Great customer service. It was refreshing to be able to have such a wonderful experience.nWhen I went to pay for my shoes, Rebecca was the cashier She was also so friendly and personable, Seems like a great team at this location. Will definitely go out of my way to visit there if I need anything else. Thanks to Matt and Rebecca for such great customer service, much appreciated.
We had an overall good experience in the footwear department, largely thanks to Malcom. When he helped us, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely joyful. He had a happy demeanour, we shared a couple of laughs with us, and made the experience pleasant and relaxed. He went out of his way to check the back for my daughter’s size and was prompt and efficient in doing so. His attitude truly made a difference and reflects very well on customer service.nnThat said, when we first arrived, we were seated in the footwear area waiting for assistance for quite some time. The two footwear staff available were engaged with one customer, and no one looked around to see if other customers needed help. We eventually had to approach them directly. A suggestion for improvement would be for staff to keep their head on a swivel and remain aware of their surroundings, or to have additional staff scheduled during busier times.nnAll in all, Malcom’s excellent attitude and care turned this into a positive experience, and he deserves recognition for his customer service.
Probably one of the worst customer experiences ever. As soon as I entered the store, the guy in the shoe section immediately complains about the AHS discount. He then loudly states that certain shoes are not included in the discount. Mind you, I was in the kids shoe area and he was standing in the mens section. Just very off putting behaviour. So I left. I returned a few days later to exchange a shoe size as they were one of the few places with it in stock. The website stated they had 4 in that size. I'm standing in the kids section again with my 2 young children and the same sale guy doesn't even come up to ask if I need any assistance. He is in the mens section just standing there. And I'm the only customer in the shoe section. I go up to him and show him the product on my phone. He doesn't even let me finish talking before talking over me. Says the sorel kids boots are last years style and they don't have any. That they only do inventory twice a year and the website is wrong. The website says they have 4 in that specific size, not including the other sizes too. He quickly walks away to double check. Comes back and says they don't have the boots. We go up to a manager and ask him to checl because their inventory should not be off like that. The manager goes to check and surprise, surprise. He found them. The only reason I would consider coming back to this location is for the Atmosphere store. You are better off at another location. I had a much better experience at the Manning or WEM stores.
Will new employee and Anthony manager at the St. Albert store were a huge help last week. I was shopping for comfortable clothes for a surgery and they both went above and beyond to help. Really appreciate extra time and their assistance during a stressful time.
The girl that helped us at the checkout was so polite and pleasant. Thank you for helping us!nCame back and picked up some new running shoes and the girl that helped was wonderful. Very helpful and so pleasant.nThank you Sport Chek!
