Stopped by during Happy Hour, and we had a great experience with the food, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere.nnThe Beef Carpaccio was fresh and tastefully adorned with capers, cheese flakes, garlic aioli, and a handful of fluffy greens. The crostinis were nice and crunchy and served as the ideal vehicle to transport the thin beef delights to our mouths. 9.5/10.nThe Seafood Linguine was delightful with an assortment of seafood topped on al dente noodles, peppered with herbs and olive oil. 9/10.nThe Green Bean tempura was fried to perfection, complemented with a mouth-watering aioli. 8/10.nThe Baked Brie was pretty bland and lacked creativity - a lot of room for improvement with this offering. 2/10.nnThis was my first time at Merchants, and I would definitely come back to try other dishes as their menu is quite extensive.

First time dining here and in all honesty I had a very nice experience. The parking is really difficult but other than that I would definitely recommend. The oysters were fresh and delicious.

Went here for lunch on a nice day for lunch after seeing their large patio out front.nnMy wife had the Chicken Brie Sandwich that featured sun dried tomato paste, garlic aioli and arugula on ciabatta which she really liked. She had the house salad which she really enjoyed but the $3 extra substitution seemed steep.nnI had the fish and chips and was surprised how good it was considering it was cod. The batter was thin and crispy which let the fish star in the dish. The french fries were tasty and crispy as well.

I’ve been here twice now, and I honestly have to leave a review because I’ve been blown away both times.nnI was there on Wednesday with some girl friends for a little girl dinner. They had 1/2 price bottles of wine as their drink special, and the ones we decided to get were great. The Anno Domini Vineyards rosé was so good that we ended up buying a second bottle. We also got the calamari, charcuterie board, and carpaccio; all of which I’d highly recommend trying. I don’t remember our server’s name that night, but she was incredibly accommodating and polite.nnI came again the following Sunday with another girl friend, and we had a classy little dinner. Our server Courtney was phenomenal; her service and communication were great. My friend and I ordered an appetizer truffle parmesan chips, entrees aaa New Yorker steak and the truffle mushroom pizza, and dessert cream catalana de vainilla, and the quality of everything was amazing.nnI highly recommend coming here. Even when it’s busy, the servers still make their best effort to attend to their tables. Plus the food is to die for.

I have been here once before years prior. It's very different. The music was blasting trance, yes I'm over 30. But we couldn't talk without shouting at 7:30 on a Friday. Our waitress was lovely. The restaurant is nice.nI ordered the Baja chicken salad. Just get the dressing and BBQ sauce on the side. It was soup pretty much.nHubby got the prime rib pasta and loved it.nSome good, some bad.nProbably won't be back. Not our vibe.
