I felt this is the best Charcoal Grill in Calgary! Clean, no cooking smell, and great service! Service was prompt and the food was prepared fresh and tasty! The Cool Noodle tasted so cold in an authentic way and the quantity was huge enough for two people! The beef was tender and delicious! Taking you back to your childhood time! Great place to come! Highly recommended! See you soon.
Pretty good northern Chinese style charcoal bbq located on the south side of Calgary. I had the same style bbq when I was doing business in Qingdao and Haiyang, China. The meat are extremely flavourful and quite good, if you are new to the spice it might take a bit to get use to.
It's becoming one of my family's favorite restaurant, we really enjoyed their food. They adjusted the spice level for us which is great for the kids. The lamb & beef skewers are tender and juicy, oyster is our favorite, it's still broiling when we get them! Amazing taste! Their considerable service makes us feel so comfortable. Will definitely bring friends back again!
It was ok to be honest. More Asian pub type fare. I felt everything has the same flavour. Ordered the meat skewers, grilled octopus and they tasted the same. Eggplant dish was delicious but very oily. Service was fast and polite.
So good. Nice portions, good price. Best for dine in.
The service was ok however I wish the food would have some different flavor. The spice was same on every dish except for two items we ordered. Some of it masked the true flavor of the meet. Good charcoal taste but after eating so many thing with the same spice started feeling sick from the flavor. I think if it could be a bit more creative with season it would be a decent place for food.

After the opening of this new barbecue restaurant on the busy MaCleod trail, I have been there twice- the first time with friends and the second time with family! I have to say that it is a great place to dine out with family or friends and have a wonderful time together! Very casual, very clean, very warm, friendly staff, great service, nice decor! All kinds of skewers were delicious and full of charcoal aroma! Authentic Chinese cuisine! I enjoyed everything that I ordered and in particular I really liked the oyster, squid, lamb skewers! Thumbs up!
Definitely authentic northern Chinese street food flavours. Can get a little salty/spicy if having too many skewers. The chicken skin skewers were hit and miss. First batch was small with very well made skin better than any fried chicken place, but second batch was too big, so skin was soft
A new restaurant on Macleod Trail features authentic charcoal grill with lots of items you can order including beef, pork, lamb and seafood. Seafood is very good and fresh. Beef is not bad very tasty with the seasoning. Pork and beef tongue needs to improve feels a little bit dry and old. Lots of parking space, but the restaurant is not very big not a lot of space to sit.
