I went through the drive-thru on March 3, 2026 at approximately 3:33pm and ordered two small drinks, two poutines, and two cookies.nnWhen I pulled up to the second window, I was handed what appeared to be Happy Meal drinks. It caught me off guard, which is why I calmly asked, “Is that a small?” The employee, Preet, responded that I had ordered a Happy Meal or two Happy Meals. The tone and manner in which this was said felt dismissive. I said no, I did not order any Happy Meals, and began repeating my actual order to clarify. The window was then shut on me mid sentence while I was repeating what I ordered.nnEvery time I visit this McDonald’s location, staff normally re read my order to me. That practice helps me tremendously as someone who is hard of hearing because it allows me to confirm that my order was heard correctly. That did not happen during this visit.nnI could see staff scrambling behind the window, which made me question whether there had been a mix up. I AM HARD OF HEARING and WEAR HEARING AIDS,, which means clear communication is essential for me. I was genuinely trying to determine whether I misheard them or they misheard me.nnWhen the window reopened, instead of explaining what was happening, the debit machine was pushed toward me with the total. I responded that I understood I had to pay, but I wanted to know what I was paying for if I had just been handed the wrong drinks.nnAnother employee then explained that there had been a mobile order mix up. The shift manager, Ryan, eventually apologized and provided the order free of charge, which I acknowledge. However, free food does not address the underlying issue.nnMcDonald’s needs clearer training on how to provide service to individuals with disabilities, including invisible ones. Just because a disability is not visible does not mean it is not real. When I was advocating for myself and trying to clarify my order, I felt dismissed rather than supported.nnTreating customers with patience, clear communication, and respect would prevent situations like this. I am sharing this not just for myself, but to advocate for others who live with hearing disabilities and rely on accessible communication every day.

I went through the drive-thru today and had the best experience. The food is, as always, great and delicious. There was a lovely girl at the window giving all the food, whose name tag said Shivani. I would like to appreciate her for her humble attitude, and she has the best smile. I got the wrong drink, maybe there was a misunderstanding due to the rush, but when I asked her, she quickly changed it, and she was so polite and said sorry to me without any fault. I love the customer service here; all the crew members are very good. I hope she will be appreciated for her job. Keep up the great work! Thank You!

The amount of racism i just tasted at this McDonald's is so very disgusting!!! I ordered my cold drinks, first window said hello fo to the next one.....second window she collected the money and looked at me....I asked wait her? ,she said next window!!! Waited over 10mins and I can see 3-4 customers getting their order directly from her and passing by me....I felt something wrong...I went inside and the lady she said I don't even remember you give me a receipt? How can I give you one if you didn't give me? Don't you stick it on the cups and the meal bags???? Apparently she didn't like my muslum friend who was setting besides me !! That why she was looking in a weird way in the 1st place I got it now!!! So, I canceled my order!!! Very racist low class!!! Never coming back !!!!

Every time I have been here I’ve been told to wait at their third window. Apparently they’re always waiting on food. I only went tonight because I had a gift card. And now lll never spend my money here again. Slow service, order is wrong pickles on burger when receipt clearly says no pickles, gives my my ice cream at second window so it can be melted before I receive my order at the third window. No common sense at this location. Clearly there’s a problem from the management level down based on the multiple bad reviews and every experience I’ve had here.

I'd like to compliment the drive-thru staff for their outstanding customer service. Today, I had a great experience, and there was a beautiful girl whose name tag was Shivu. She was really calm, polite and friendly as she gave me the food so quickly, and I would appreciate her for the excellent customer service. She truly made my day with her humble attitude and made the experience smooth and pleasant! Keep up the great work!..nThank You.
