Hotel is dated; they need to refurbish the rooms. Good view of Mt. Shasta from some of the rooms on the 2nd floor. Friendly staff but there's a very limited amount of healthy food offerings in the bar/lounge. Parking is good with an easy walk to a much better restaurant called the "Black Bear Diner" about 200 yards away. Try the chicken pot pie at the Black Bear and you won't be disappointed,

The staff are amazing! There is no question they “make” the Inn great! The rooms are a smidge dated- little bit of a musty smell. The Inn itself is rustic/woodsy and lots of fun to explore. The in house restaurant was very handy and again the staff made all the difference. Our waiter (Thomas) went above and beyond and made our simple “hotel” dinner fun and tasty. The price was a bit more than we normally pay for a quick in and out stay but we would come back again -the service was great and the kids loved it.

WOW. We decided to stay here last minute after a long day on the road and we are SO glad that we did. The hotel and the rooms were absolutely IMMACULATE. The beds were comfortable, the food was tasty and comforting and every member of staff that we spoke with was incredibly nice and helpful. In particular, Ryan's service was exceptional. We're on the road again now and because of this experience, we're trying to find Best Westerns to stay at during the rest of our trip. Highly recommended.***ALSO: Bonus points for the lodge/mountain cabin aesthetic. Lots of cozy charm.

Ask for a room upstairs and not downstairs looking into the parking lot, freeway, or gas station next door! Otherwise, you will be staying at a likes of a Motel 6. The rooms were clean however and the daytime staff at the front desk were kind. For the price of $150 that is commonly advertised, there are better options in town w/ better locations. I did not eat at the restaurant b/c they allowed guests w/ pets to go to a cold patio (no heat lamps) that looked like an alleyway. Staff at the restaurant were nice however and provided utensils for borrowing.

Great place to stop while in Mount Shasta. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice two-sink bathrooms, and the HVAC units work well! Good restaurant with very sweet and competent wait-staff. Highly recommended.
