Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka

It took 45 min. Just to ask if they had rooms available( I know only one person was working) So, I did understand the delay. We were on the second floor and with a 85 yr. Old disabled Father it was not easy getting too our room because they don't have a elevator! Climbing the stairs was hard on him and us because we had too carry the heavy luggage up the stairs. We finally get into our room too find the bathroom was not cleaned .The toilet had the last guest feces on the seat and the shower had dirt in it..I went to call the front desk but, the phone didn't work...I walked down too the front desk and they apologized and changed our room.The positive was the free breakfast in the AM, very good. After driving 12 hours we wanted to get into a clean hotel and get a good night sleep for the next 12 hour drivre. We did not get that!! Next time we will try somewhere else to stay.

Stayed 2 days, room wasn't cleaned once, towels and toiletries not replaced once, had to ask front desk for replinishments ourselves and side entry REAKED of cat urine. Much better alternatives around for that $80/night, what a joke.

The location is pretty great. And the rooms and service are fantastic! Overall baymont inn & suites is a great place to stay.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. This hotel is surrounded by seedy people walking the streets everywhere. From the minute you leave the interstate hold on to your purse and lock the doors. Hotel is dirty inside and out. Don't go in the pool....it's nasty. Don't make the mistake we did.....just leave and go down the road to a safer and cleaner place. Only clean thing about this town is McDonald's and Walmart. Take my advice. ....you'll wish you did. Keep driving. There's no doubt that the people who gave 5 stars to this place either have no clue what a 5 star hotel is or they were comped or paid for a good review.
