Baseball diamonds, tennis courts, playground, benches and a row of picnic tables make this an all-around nice park for families and everyone. Level sports field for soccer or frisbee. Lots of mature trees offer a nice balance of sun and shade. Enjoy!
A huge green space along 4th avenue and Waterloo St that we enjoyed recently..parking just below Waterloo St and making our way to the park which offers a very wide range of activities—tennis courts, bathroom facilities, tables for enjoying food and drinks on the outdoor tables, and sports fields for softball/baseball events..we continued down Waterloo St to Jean Beaty Park and onto Hastings Mill Park..a delightful stroll of 8300 steps while walking such interesting streets of friendly Kitsilano back to where we parked our car…here again to stroll the park, then wander down 4th Ave to Hastings Mill Park to have that expansive view of English Bay
The atmosphere and size is lovely, very quiet and separated between the kids park and the two grassy areas, but the bathrooms were disgusting and only had one stall which I imagine would be difficult midday. Definitely reccomend finding a nearby washroom if you can, rather than using the public ones Restrooms: Very gross, only one stall and a very dirty mirror, I reccomend finding other restrooms Picnic area: The picnic area is in a cement walkway, but it's nice, though make sure to choose one without any obscenities if you're with kids
Quiet little neighborhhod park with picnic tables, tennis courts, kiddie playground, baseball diamond, soccer field, lots of greenspace for picnics, and beautiful mature trees.
A great little park with playground, tennis courts and washrooms, in the heart of Kits.
Village Vancouver are the “artist in residence” at the field house. I was part of the team setting up the vertical garden there and I think it came out pretty.
Playground equipment is fun for the little ones. Bathroom onsite. Good climbing trees. Irritating fancy ppl playing tennis. Cherry blossoms galore!
9 hours -6km trek up a mountain -6km back down -Mosquitoes and other bugs that bite -Loose rocks and dust -Slippery rocks -Falling rocks -Rivers and fallen trees -Slippery slopes -Slippery snow, soft snow, hard snow -Hot and humid Cold and icy -Walking, scrambling on all fours -Sliding down a snowy slope on my butt -Sore joints -Scraped right and left legs -Damaged shoes -Damaged backpack This hike had it all
It's a lovely small park for little kids with playground for football and baseball. And there is too aTennis Court.
Great park with well-maintained playground equipment and lots of space to run around. The playground equipment is fairly new, but mostly designed for older children not the best for kids under 3
