Connaught Park

Great park with splash pad and playground. Free parking lot except Sundays because of the farmers market . Shaded spots for sitting.

The park has nice baseball fields and grassy fields for other kinds of sports. I have seen people have nice outings and have a picnic in the grassy areas of the park. I have also seen rugby and soccer practices as well.nThe park is always busy during the summer. And also in summer times there is a public market on Sundays where you can buy fresh produce, cheese and food. I mostly use the gym in the community center where I spend most of my time when I go to the park.

Its walking paths are a highlight, providing scenic routes for both casual strollers and more adventurous hikers, with some paths leading to wonderful views of the town​​. Visitors appreciate the park's peaceful ambience, enhanced by its beautiful gardens and expansive size that often surprises first-time visitors​​.

A micro water theme park for kids. Kids will enjoy it. Adults can also play with them. Make sure you are carrying extra clothes for the kids. Good parking area available. No parking fees.

This park has many shaded benches and wide green spaces with multiple sports events available..from an indoor ice rink, a community centre and softball, cricket, rugby and baseball fields with a playground area.. Kitsilano High School is adjacent to this park..there is also the 10th Ave bike lane located by the park.. parking is readily available ..there seems to be one activity available to choose from whenever you choose…maybe just a walk or run around the park is another opportunity to experience…
