May's Garden Restaurant

This is a longtime favourite restaurant of my family's in Ottawa. The food is pretty good by Ottawa standards. Our Peking duck was better than expected, although it did require quite a long wait. The restaurant got quite busy by around 12:30 on a Saturday. I would recommend this place if you're looking for some classic Chinese food.

The food was not too bad, not great either. Service was brusque; not that enjoyable. Server was talking on the phone while serving which feels kind of odd. The food portion was smaller than what I'd expect from a Chinese restaurant. Lots of other choices around so I don't think I'll be coming back here.

Great Chinese platters for good old fashioned Canadian style Chinese food. The ribs were yum-tastic and the rice was nice. Hard to get the owners off of their cell phones to get their attention, but otherwise friendly service.

Great service, prompt, friendly. Food was good, hot, tasty and hit the spot.

Best restaurant

Nice little place. They give you tea. Had the deep fried spicy chicken. It was good. The sauce made me sweat.

Small Chinese restaurant on Somerset & Preston China town & Little Italy no fancy, family restaurant with 5 medium large round tables for 8 to 10 people & some small tables Sometimes cater for bus tourists in the summer weekend. Hot pot is inexpensive.

Decent food. Good value. The recent flooring upgrade looks good.
