Great gym! Extremely clean & very friendly staff. I'm very particular, so thought to check out this gym in hopes to get away from the regular crowded "all show off" atmosphere. I joined because of the great positive feel, & the staff made me feel like I was a member for years, not pushy. I had the choice to pick the membership that suits me best! This gym is massive, that offers everything you need, even a salt water pool/whirlpool!! Awesome!! Fantastic price too!
What a great place to workout! After my second child I found it really hard to get back into the grove of getting to the gym. I found the staff, the facility and the professional trainers so extremely friendly, helpful and motivating. It has been a while since I have been excited about working out but it feels like home with the friendly staff and the family friendly atmosphere, that even my kids ask if they can go to the gym!! I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!
Master is a great fitness club. It is no-nonsense, dedicated to function, and has excellent and clean facilities. It's the antidote to the massive corporate gym: they don't use shady sales tactics, they have their membership fees online, it is family-run, and they make a point of knowing their members.
Thrilled that this place is open again. I am an avid squash player and have had to travel a fair bit in the past year to play. I am looking forward to a new league starting up here in Newmarket at Master Fitness. It's clean, comfortable and accommodating with real people giving a good vibe all the time.
I visited today to ask about using their squash facilities. One of the two men on the front desk seemed annoyed that I was even there rolling his eyes at me. I was literally having to drag every answer out of them. I was asking how much it would be to just use the squash facilities without the gym if that was possible and what was the pricing like on membership versus buying squash court time. The price for 40mins is 30 bucks for two people but you could get 10 sessions of 40 mins for 150, that's a steal I thought. However no that's the price per person. So it's the exactly the same price they didn't seem to understand how it was the same deal. Ultimately very unhelpful and I was exhausted talking to them.
2023 and I can’t find any info on this facility online …
Edited review: The place is falling apart. I chose not to renew my membership. The pool is always broken. The hot tub is always broken. And last time I was there the ceiling was literally falling in. Buyer beware.
I went there asking for prices and it turned out to be the worst experience.rude staff , they seemed that they didn’t even want me there , very expensive ,not to mention that the pool is broken and the facilities are not being maintained. Terrible experience
Wonderful atmosphere and staff! Highly recommend to all my friends and family, with everything and more you would expect from a gym!
Great equipment, great staff, and great enviroment. Highly recommended best gym across the GTA!
