Visited Martino Manor with two friends around 8 PM on a Wednesday. There was a $5 discount, so we paid $25 each instead of $30. We waited about 30–40 minutes in line, but it was entertaining since an actor came out every 10 minutes or so to scare people waiting. The haunted house itself was detailed and full of actors. I didn’t find it very scary, but I appreciated the effort and creativity in each room. The walkthrough took about 15 minutes, covering many unique areas. Overall, it’s worth experiencing once, though the wait is much longer than the actual walkthrough.
Just visited Martino Manor tonight and I got there by 7:20pm so the wait was about an hour. Im glad they had like 2 scare actors just going around entertaining all the ppl in line. Helped make the time go by faster. Once we reached there, unfortunately there was a group of girls ahead of us that kinda ruined the experience. Martino Manor has a rule to not be on your phone during the experience and unfortunately one of the girls was recording with her flash on the WHOLE time. Even when an actor told her to put the phone away she didn't listen which was annoying for sure. Even though i tried to walk slow to not catch up with the girls in front of me they pretty much got all the scares, and people from behind caught up with me. They had really nice decor and actors but it wasn't necessarily too scary, which is what I was hoping for. I feel like it could definitely be improved if they had tickets online to be sold so only an X amount of people can be let in every night to ensure they distance groups better. And also it's CASH only which I didnt see mentioned on their website, so make note!
Just got to Toronto for the first time and saw this as an attraction, so my brother and I checked it out. One of the best haunted houses I've ever been too. Absolutely incredible layout. The staff are phenomenal with their movements, sounds, and interactions. The lady at the front was really nice and friendly. You can tell that the staff really enjoy their job because WOW they were good nnHighly, highly, highly recommend! Bring cash for entry!
Just tried Martino Manor for the first time tonight and it’s everything a haunt should be. It’s amazingly designed and you can absolutely tell this was created by someone who has a true love for horror and haunts. I’ve been to alot of haunts in my time and can tell when something is a cash grab and this is not one of those things.nnMy only critiques are that I wish they spaced out entry a little more. I went solo tonight and was so excited when they let me in on my own. I was walking at a fine pace but still ended up in a conga line a few mins in. I also don’t know if space is an issue but a few more scare actors wouldn’t go a miss!nnI also did not get any scares due to the group either in front of me or behind me getting them. No fault of the haunt, just bad timing I guess. Maybe I’ll try again on the last night of operations and hopefully get some good scares!
I can’t say enough good things about this haunted house. The decorations are over the top amazing. Actors are dedicated. They let you walk through alone, so there is a gap between you and the people behind you.nnI lost a gold hoop earring, and really didn’t think I would get it back, but one of the actors walked through at midnight AND FOUND IT!!! Being at the end of the night everyone who worked there was outside. And they were all so cute and cheered when I got my earring back.nnThank you!!!!!nCan’t wait to go back next year.
