A very classy music hall located in the heart of Toronto. I’ve been here a few times to watch the TSO and they’ve been an inspiration every time, being a musician myself. I recently came here for the Lunar New Year Celebration Concert and had a great time watching the show and exploring the small markets set up around the lobby.
This place is beautifully designed for a full enjoyment of orchestras and classical music.nThe acoustics is perfect and you feel really immersed in the experience.nnI’d recommend it to anyone who lives in Toronto or who’s just visiting town.
Saw Jan Lasicki play Chopin. Great experience. Beautiful venue and world class performance from a Polish Canadian virtuosso.nnThe orchestra was top notch too. Made for a great evening.
A classic venue in Toronto. Wonderful selection of concerts. Always very talented musicians. Helpful staff, decently priced concession options including beer and wine. Definitely worth a visit to see the symphony.
Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto is a masterpiece of architecture and acoustics, providing the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. Attending the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's Messiah concert here was a truly magical experience—two hours of pure bliss that brought back cherished memories. The design of the hall is both elegant and functional, offering stunning views from every angle, including the balcony, where I was impressed by the clear sightlines and exceptional sound quality.nnThe acoustics are nothing short of remarkable, enhancing every note and emotion of the performance. The organizers were professional and helpful, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. With its convenient location and easy access to public transportation, Roy Thomson Hall is a gem in the heart of Toronto. I left the concert feeling inspired and uplifted and look forward to returning for more symphonic masterpieces in this extraordinary venue.nnPhotography/videography during the performance is prohibited. Took some snaps before it started.
