Great concert experience for the recent showing of Home Alone. Venue is very nice and the acoustics are phenomenal. Great views from any seat. Staff strategically placed to assist. The conductor, musicians, and the choir were top notch and really enhanced the experience. Very informal setting with lots of clapping, cheering, and of course laughter. Also saw ET & Star Wars here this year and highly recommend.
Went here to see the Toronto Symphony Orchestras Swan Lake, when I tell you my experience couldn't have been any less amazing!! Not only was the entire concert hall gorgeous, the acoustics were incredible, and the staff were incredibly polite and nice. I was allowed to view the famous piano as well as visit the choir loft during intermission, the entire place was extremely clean, and service was quick and efficient. Absolutely loved it and definitely recommend!!
My family and I watched The Princess Bride in concert yesterday. It was an incredible experience. We were seated on the right side of the stage, and the seats/view were perfect. Watching a nostalgic movie with a live orchestra just hits differently. I look forward to future shows and recommend that everyone give it a try.nnThroughout our visit, the staff were very attentive and helpful from beginning to end. Such a vibe!
Great concert hall, designed by famous architect Arthur Erickson 1924-2009, with excellent views and lots of leg space. I loved tonight's concert by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, performing Shostakovitch's violin concerto No. 2 and Tchaikovsky's symphony No. 5 under the baton of Hannu Lintu born 1967 and with Elina Vähälä born 1975 as the violin soloist.
What a fabulous performance!!! Great talent, great performance, great seats, great sound, great service!!! Need I say more!!nHighly recommend attending the symphony. The first half was a little unexpected with some whimsy worked into the sound. I could almost picture some shenanigans in some classic Disney productions in the sound. The second half was more intimate with an incredible cellist who played without sheet music. Absolutely incredible.nThe logistics, we took an Uber but found there was ample parking so feel free to drive. The bar was well stocked and while pricer than a restaurant, it wasn't as expensive as some other venues. The doors only open an hour before the performance so if the weather is unpleasant then don't arrive earlier than that but if the weather is nice, then it's a nice walk around the area and several bars and restaurants to have a nibble before going in.nEnjoy!!
