My first visit since the renovations that took two years. It's much improved. Bar and washroom on each floor. Padded seats and the ceiling has beautiful scallops and stained glass. Best of all we thought the acoustics which were always great had improved
The newly renovated Massey Hall, great concert venue with new state-of-the-art acoustic, the seats have been upgraded with ample leg room and cushioned, beautiful new lounge with concession stands for refreshments, new washroom facilities, plus displays of the history of Massey Hall.
A great concert hall to watch live performances!nnGreat lighting and acoustics add to the overall concert experience, and there are lots of seating options to choose from that all give a great view of the stage.
What a beautiful renovation. They kept the essence and character of the theatre but made it so much more comfortable and functional. Love the bar area downstairs with the seating around the edges. And best of all lots of women's washrooms!! Well done. Not a bad seat in the house.nnedit. Photos are taken from row G.
My husband and I visited Massey Hall to see Feist on her Multitudes Tour! The historic building is absolutely breathtaking and there’s a gallery hallway that explains the story of Massey HallnnThe process for admittance was quick and easy, although we also felt secure and safe inside. Tickets were relatively well priced, although drinks were incredibly expensive and the bartenders were really inaccurate with their recommendations for beernnNext time, we’d probably visit a local bar beforehand or after for any drinks. Overall, the experience was really great and we’d definitely visit again!
