Downsview Arena

This arena has a nice old school feel. The lady who runs the snack bar is very kind and has a wide assortment of food to purchase. The parking lot seems to be just the right size because it isn’t big but there is always a spot available. There is good seating in the arena, and the ice is decent as well — although it would be nice if they ran the Zamboni a bit more often.

I came to see my grandson play a game. I am turning 66 years old. I've been in an accident so I have a problem with my leg. It has to be elevated a certain height. Because of my leg I sometimes have to be creative as I had my 85 year old mother with me we had to sit in the warmth where there was nowhere to put my leg as I cannot sit in a normal chair with my leg down. I took one of the trash cans put the garbage bag nicely into another garbage can turned the garbage can over to rest my leg. Later the janitor came over and very ignorantly asked me where I got the garbage can. I nicely explained what I did and why. He said that is supposed to be over there you are not to take it. I said I'll put it back just as nicely as I got it. He said you should've asked for a chair very rudely. I told him there was nobody to ask. So as a senior citizen I got up put the garbage pail back, took the garbage bag put it nicely back into to pail. The janitor was coming back with the chair and asked rudely where's the garbage pail at. I politely said I put it back the way it was because it was so hard to do. If that's the way we treat senior citizens I'll never be back simply arrogant and rude.

Amazing!!! So happy. Just got my COVID-19 vaccine.nnWas really smooth processing and lines moved quickly. Lots of places to park. Accessible from TTC. Great place, visited while a vaccination clinic from Humber River Hospital was functioning there. Clean and well organized place.

Great experience. Still think the process can improve a lot in Canada... But the experience here was great I was luck to not get long lines. Multiple volunteers organizing people inside. Whole process in my case was about 40 mins.
