Market Fresh

Lovely grocery store with the best butcher and selection of meats. You can do some quick shopping or go to the checkout area and buy food or coffees to go. Nice seating area outside if you want to sit and enjoy what you purchased.

Great store to shop at for fresh produce and baked goods. Meat and fish and more expensive than most retailers however very convenient if you live in the neighborhood and need something in a pinch. Their cashiers are always friendly and the line moves quickly. Also a great destination for specialty items hard to find elsewhere.

Market Fresh is by far my favourite grocery store. Our family loves the quality and the variety of the offerings. The beautifully displayed decor items that greet you as you enter have saved me many times as joyfully received hostess gifts. The always fresh and locally sourced produce, the large selection of deli cheeses and the quality butcher shop meats are constant items in my cart. The bakery is brimming with guilty pleasures and wonderful breads. Market Fresh has been my go to place for pre-made meals for my daughters as brand new mothers, my elderly mother and myself. I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful and I love that Market Fresh is family owned. The pride of ownership is evident throughout the entire store.

Stopped at Market Fresh as I was told this is the place to go to in Guelph for the freshest fruits and vegetables. Must say I was not disappointed with the large selection and everything was so fresh. After I stopped by the butcher shop, what an amazing selection of seafood, beef and homemade burgers for the BBQ. If you can talk to the butcher, please do as he has a wealth of knowledge about all the meat products. There is even a bakery with an amazing selection of breads and desserts. This place is amazing and is a real gem that needs further exploring as there is a vast selection, something for everyone

Whether it’s a memorable dessert or just a sweet indulgence, a catering large or small, the perfect hostess gift, the gourmet details that make the meal , I’m never disappointed with Market Fresh. It’s my go to patio for the best latte and scone in town, a perfect sandwich on the run or Friday night fish dinner take-out. The friendly and professional service, the quality and attention to detail are what make Market Fresh my go to for so many things.
