We’ve been getting custom cakes from Market Fresh since 2021, and they have never disappointed. Our go-to orders are the Black Forest cake and their cheesecake—both are absolutely delicious and consistently high quality. The cheesecake, in particular, has been such a hit with our friends that several of them have gone on to order the exact same one!nnThe bakery is truly top-tier, and you can tell they take pride in what they make. Beyond desserts, we’ve also tried their fresh pre-packaged meals not the hot deli counter, but the ready-made section, and those have been equally impressive—fresh, flavourful, and definitely worth it.nnWhile some items are on the higher end price-wise and are not worth it. the quality of the bakery items absolutely justifies it.

I’ve been shopping at Market Fresh for years and stop in several times a week. The food is always fresh, the selection is great, and the customer service is consistently excellent.nnI especially wanted to recognize Chelsea. She’s the only employee who has gone out of her way to introduce herself, and now she greets me by name every time I come in. It’s such a small gesture, but it really makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.nnMarket Fresh has always been one of my favourite places to shop in Guelph, and employees like Chelsea are a big part of why I keep coming back.
