Marinepolis Sushi Land: Clackamas

This used to be the place we came for Sushi, because it was good but since we tried other places, we’ve come to realize that the sushi quality here just isn’t to par.. The Sushi is just bad.. it tastes like gas station Sushi.. The service also isn’t great either.. having to ask for a water refill isn’t okay.. I’ve had many employees pass by many times without even looking at my cup or to check to see if we needed anything or how the food was.. Sushi Land has just lost its luster.. defiantly needs to switch food vendors or where ever they are getting their products from. I’d love to come back to this place but they definitely need a few updates and adjustments to what they are serving and who is serving before I would ever consider coming back.. other sushi places charge a bit more but the quality is so much better. I’d rather pay extra for a better quality piece of sushi than pay little to nothing for something that isn’t of quality. Please update guys. 😕

Sushi land was less then desirable. My daughter and I went for a late lunch, As you walk in the restaurant all you could smell was dead fish, but we are eating sushi. We got seated promptly and got some water. my daughter nicely asked for some lemons. Waitress got us some lemons that where a little dry. We started looking at the rotating Belt but my eyes where quickly diverted to the ton of fish skins piled higher than the sushi trays going around on the belt. I pointed it out to my daughter, yuck we both said. Then we tried to see what was underneath the lids but they were badly scratched/foggy so I had to read the sign that was placed on the belt before each group of items or I had to lift the lids. My daughter grab a few things not knowing what it might be. Some of the sushi was good, some was dry and discolored. Almost all the avocado stuff was dark grayish brown and I wasn’t even going to try that. Some salmon on the belt looked the same. I could go on with different things but I think you get the drift. The restaurant itself was not every clean looking and by this I mean around the handles on the cupboards were dark dirty hand smudges and the dangling light fixtures above the Cash register were covered with an inch of dust bunnies. The walls were Filthy and the floor were disgusting and slippery. We paid and left. Sad to see a sushi place gone Bad. You can see some of the things I’m saying in their pics.

Used to be my favorite sushi place. I now avoid it all all costs. Very poor service here. Don't bother ordering anything because it will never arrive. The sushi conveyor is typically poorly stocked and lacks variety. Cleanliness has slipped while prices have climbed. Do not eat here. There are several better options for better sushi within a mile of here.

It's your standard sushi track. Every time I come here something gets screwed up though. Last time they sat us at the bar when we were a group of 4 and they sat a group of two in the booth. Makes sense to me. Don't put too much faith in the intelligence of the staff.

Horrible service, very rude staff. Was charged higher prices then on the menu. Food looked very old, I didn't even eat my food it was so bad, WELL NEVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN, DO NOT WASTE YOUR $
