Had one of my rings sized here and WILL NEVER use this place again!! I had paid for the sizing ahead of time as that made sense to me and was given a receipt to pick it up. Waited to get a call back once my ring was ready; when I went in to claim my ring was told to pay the cost again. Outraged I told them I have already paid up front but was told that is against their policy to take pre-payments; that was not explained to me when they were taking my cash. Now they are trying to extort me out of another $65, and having a ring sized surely isn't worth $130 to me. Thing that makes me sick is if the ring didn't have sentimental value to me I would tell them to shove it where the sun didn't shine. But instead I have to jump through their hoops in trying to get my ring back without having to pay the cost AGAIN. I have made it clear to them they have lost me as a customer over this matter and would be warning people about this place. Best advice I can give is, BEWARE OF MAPPINS. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!

Brought in my wife's ring for repairs. I was quoted and a price from their own price book. Surprised to find out that the price that I was quoted means nothing. The receipt given to me did not state anywhere that it was an estimate only. Did receive a call that it was going to be more and was charged more or I couldn't have my ring back. Was told by the sales person when I dropped it off that it would be done up nice upon return to me as the vendor they use would clean it up nice. So lesson learned, I will stay away from the store and beware to those who shop here.

Had a great experience with them purchasing my rings and recently when I had them sent away to be coated and had my engagement ring and wedding band put together. They were done 10 days before they said they would be and they looked great! Super Friendly staff as well!

I have never been treated so rudely and insulting in my whole life, I have been taking my wedding rings for their warranty checks twice a year for the past 8 years. I have my engagement ring, wedding band and a second wedding band my husband gave me for my one year anniversary. all 3 rings are soldered together, I have going in every December and every June as per my warranty suggests never missed a date for the past 8 years and every time your staff looks over my ring and signs the inspection form that it has been inspected and I send it out for Rhodium plating afterwards. well this time as soon as I gave the lady all my paperwork she told me I was missing an inspection form for my second wedding band???(and was very rude about it) In 8 years of dealing with numerous employees and various locations have never been told I needed a second form for my second ring that is all one set now. so in 8 years all your other staff have been doing it all wrong except for this women as she threatened to void my warranty????? and as she takes forever to finish up the paperwork to send it out for rhodium plating she then informs me like I was an idiot that she was going to have the ring looked at for some loose claws and I said isn't that what I am here for you to do today inspect it and send it out, she said no??? I asked her why she had then signed my now 2 inspections forms??? if that is not why I was there in the first place and she kept saying no that is not why I was there??? I was there to send it out for rhodium plating??? then I asked her again what the inspection forms were for??? I am baffled. she then continued to print out my receipt to send ring out for the plating and inspection and she undervalued my rings, on the receipt they are to put how much the rings are worth in case they are lost or wrecked, I had all my receipts with me and she only had the value of my engagement ring and ONE wedding band, so If something happened to it they would not replace what it was actually worth, but when I first came in she made a big ass hairy deal about the second inspection form but yet does not add up the value of both rings to send out (does that make any sense????) needless to say I did not leave my wedding rings with these people as would not trust them with a hang nail never mind my irreplaceable wedding rings. I will never go back to your Londonderry location and will let anybody and everybody I know not to either. I am sure this post will fall on deaf ears, but I hope somebody saves them self a headache from going there and dealing with such incredibly rude people. I myself am in customer service and am appalled by the way I was treated

Went to get my fiance' s ring fixed (it was out of round and bent) the lady there was able to fix it right there and she even gave it a cleaning. Will be going back for any jewelry work or my next purchase for sure
