Home delivery food services at it’s best! Incredible array of fresh & frozen produce with varied options of order sizes as well as, an extensive store of goods from pantry to desserts which can be added on. Bonus*** great recipes included with each basket order from the produce items of the week.
We love Mama Earth & my littles look forward to the delivery each week! The staff is amazing & we love the producers they support.
I have been a customer for almost 3 years. It was a great company at first but now they are getting worse at quality control. As I see these reviews it seems that new customers are very happy, perhaps older customers are getting the poor quality products. I am dealing with bad product at least once a month.
We've been with Mama Earth since the start of the pandemic. Amazing quality and variety of produce with an extensive set of options for customizing according to your preferences. Customer service has always been exceptional and any time there has been something not quite right, it has been generously compensated and made better. Highly recommend!
This is a wonderful service. Everybody that I have ever dealt with - from the drivers to the helpful customer service people via email is instantly responsive and friendly. It is great to know you're supporting local organic farmers and a positive working environment at the same time. On the rare occasion there's been an issue e.g. substitution, change in product it is the company that informs me - ahead of time, not after the fact. So impressed.
I'm actually infuriated right now so I'm going to be as eloquent as possible. I thought I found a good *organic food delivery service and platform. I control when payments come out of my account, so I usually pay shortly after the time they are supposed to take the payment out to ensure that I've paid for one thing and not another. This company, makes contact ASAP by phone when that happens, which I'm fine with. I am not always monitoring my emails. Yesterday I was editing my basket, and today I signed back in to my account to learn that they've CANCELLED my order all together. They did not make any effort to contact me, which as they have learned had they been paying attention is best by *phone. Instead what person A did was leave a note on my account to collect payment in advance which I was not made aware of and then had person B try to take payment which I was not aware of and then rather than taking the time to simply call me and let me know, which I would have actually been able to clear instantly on the phone with them, they cancelled my order because of it and then sent and email. Not one person, I repeat, not one person made an effort to simply call me and let me know that these are the changes they've made to my shopping account. So I come home on Saturday after noon, after running errands and planning the rest of my weekend around the fact that I was supposed to be getting a produce bin delivered, to find out they've taken it upon themselves to cancel it, and I will now not have an organic produce deliver at all for this week. I'm beyond disappointed and I feel disrespected and thrown to the wayside.
I'm pretty shocked at the negative reviews. I've been using Mama Earth for many, many years and absolutely love their service, the quality of the food and the variety. If I ever have any issue with an item which has been VERY rare, Heather immediately makes the situation right. I am thinking of moving to Hamilton and not being able to have my weekly order from Mama Earth is breaking my heart.
It's currently the height of summer and these folks do not disappoint with the quality and variety of fruits and veg, week after week. If this doesn't save me a fortune, it most certainly saves hours of time. I couldn't be happier!
My daughter introduced me to Mama Earth and we got our first basket I always loved the idea of helping our local farmers! Other than the Mama's Greens with Roasted Chicken, there was no plastics. The clear plastic container be used to store stuff and the small dressing container can be reused for storage as well! Great salad!
Love, LOVE this company. Local and organic veg, meat etc. for decent prices, loads of selection and almost zero waste! All deliveries come in a tupperware container that you leave out for them to take back on your next order.
