Spicy Dragon

I came here to grab lunch on a weekday. They currently only do take out. To my surprise the lunch menu items still work out to be shy of $10 after tax. [ Chilli chicken w/ gravy on fried rice ] - The chilli chicken gravy spice level is very low and also not so strong in flavour. The chicken itself is moist in comparison to the other ones I had. I always upgrade from plain rice to fried rice to complement the light flavoured gravy. Great place to grab lunch, service is quick.

As a life long Scarberian, I can confidently say Spicy dragon has the best chilli chicken. Especially with the price of the lunch special, I can't think of a better bang for your buck these days.

Love this restaurant a lot. Have been going here for almost 12 years. Their food is very tasty and even though they keep increasing prices it's good value. I highly recommend this place. Staff is very nice. Even though they closed down the dining area this place is always busy. Must try this place. I highly recommend the spicy dragon shrimp, spicy dragon chicken and Manchurian chicken and shrimp fried rice. A lot of flavor and bit spicy but really good.

I think my family's bodies are made up of 50% of Hakka food from Spicy Dragon. We've been going here for years and order here on a weekly basis. Whenever we have guests over and need to cater food we order from here. The staff is friendly and recognizes our entire family by face. I went in one evening to pick up food for a friend and they told me my mom was in earliermost people don't recognize my relation to my mom because I'm mixed I recommend getting the Chili Chicken Dry or wet you won't go wrong and one of our more recent favourites is the mushroom fried rice. They have a second location in Pickering which is also another bonus for us personally because it's close to my sister's house, so we get access to Spicy Dragon in Scarborough and in Durham. IMO Best Hakka food in Toronto food reviewers and influencers need to "put some respect" on their name Parking: Lot's of parking

I tried their food today for the first time and I am amazed. It’s absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. I will definitely be busying here regularly!

Not bad for a quick lunchtime fix. I ordered the Chili chicken on rice for take out. Good flavouring, rice with the onions tasted a bit strong.

This place is not good for dine in on cold days, cold air comes in whenever somebody opens the door. The cashier is not pleasant with whoever calls them. The serving is more than enough and items are not very expensive either. Good place to do takeout.

I love chinese but I haven't developed the taste of hakka chinese yet or there is something missing. Very less salt then it should be according to our liking. American chop suey is one of my favourite dishes but here it was not good at all. Where as Chicken fried rice was good plus the chilli beef with gravy was a decent dish. Shrimp pakora also was a decent one. Service was a good one. Dishes we tried Corn soup: Decent taste. Good serving can serve at least 6 bowls. Shrimp pakora: can be tried once. Chilli beef with gravy: liked it a bit more seasoning would have been better. Chicken fried rice: Better American Chop suey: Not at all according to our taste buds. Left almost all of it Service: Nice people 3 rating is for the good service only, otherwise it was 2

Very tasty food, loves the kung pao chicken. And chow main was a big larger noodles than i expected but overall great fast service, kind staff and cozy little tucked away spot. All in all loved it.Food: 5/5
