I go there for swimming. It was a great experience quite clean pool with necessary equipment for the beginner learners like me. Really enjoyed
ProsnThis location includes the basic equipment for your fitness goals and daily exercise. Steps away from public transportation TTC and GO train Even during rush hours the facilities do not get uncomfortable. The prices are extremely affordable and the staff is good enough, although not present often.nnConsnThe last means trespassing in these facilities is very easy. When they solve their attendance/security issue they will get a 5 star.
Regarding the weight room: too small and 80% of the space is cardio equipment. Otherwise, it's fine for basic workout.
My kids come here for swimming and karate. Good karate classnPool I'd slightly cold for kids. But considering that this place is a bit older it's fine.
My review is specifically for the summer dance programs offered for toddlers. The space in which the classes were held was hot and muggy and not conducive to a good learning environment. Additionally, the teacher hired by the city may have been a good dancer but definitely not educated to teach toddlers. The class started with 10 toddlers and by the 4th week there were only 2 left. The city needs better screening and accountability on whom they hire. Our tax dollars should be spent wisely, and public spaces used for better programming.
