I am not sure if it is cuts to funding or because it is winter, but the women's change room in the swimming area is extremely dirty in recent weeks. There is hair everywhere. The drain in the middle of the floor, in the shower area, had so much hair accumulated that it looked clogged. There was always alot of hair in the hand washing drains also makes them clogged. It is very unpleasant.nnIn the pool area, I also saw alot of accumulated wet dust and hair. This makes me question about the cleaniness of the water.nnFor a paying member, I expect a clean facility.nnRegarding the staff, they are generally unfriendly, and I do not engage with them. This is not a recent phenomenon. This has been the case since I started using this facility two and a half years ago. Someone else in the comments have also indicated the same.
ProsnThis location includes the basic equipment for your fitness goals and daily exercise. Steps away from public transportation TTC and GO train Even during rush hours the facilities do not get uncomfortable. The prices are extremely affordable and the staff is good enough, although not present often.nnConsnThe last means trespassing in these facilities is very easy. When they solve their attendance/security issue they will get a 5 star.
the staff are super weird, very unfriendly, always looking to accuse people for some reason. Specially the bald headed brown guy. Constantly on a power trip and arbitrary interims of enforcing rules, legit makes stuff up on the spot to berate you. Harasses the parents and gym goers. All the staff are kind of like that, some of em even got fired over the years cuz of their behavior. DO NOT COME HERE
Registered for a ballet program for my 3 year old daughter, most of the classes were cancelled last second and the last day we got a confirmation that it would happen and they had an instructor, however, when we arrived there was no instructor and we did not even get an email or phone call saying it would be cancelled.
I really enjoyed the pool in this facility.nUsed for lessons, lane swimming and also just to play with the kids. Great place!
