Venue is beautiful and clean. Staff is friendly. Hockey arenas, Jays Care baseball diamond, Youth Club and basketball courts, meeting rooms on sight. Also have a pool with a water slide and a park for outdoor fun in the summertime. Absolutely wonderful place to bring your whole family or drop in for one of the many sports they offer!
Great gathering place Family oriented-. It takes up two blocks at the corner of Lawrence Ave East and Manse Rd.
If there is a negative star, I’ll give this community center that. My relative booked this place for the first bday of our grandson. They have filled up and submitted all forms and permits needed. However the staff delayed in accepting the deposit to complete the booking. Follow ups and a lot of calls were made to the staff only to find out that they gave out the date to other people. This put a lot of stress to all of us and have to rush in booking another venue and making new arrangements to the guests, catering, etc.nnDefinitely giving this place especially the staff a thumbs down !
I had a truly frustrating experience with their booking process due to abysmal communication. Our family had booked an event and they said that it was confirmed and just waiting for our payment, which we were very willing and able to provide. All we were waiting for was a call from the manager which was apparently on vacation at that time. We followed up multiple times but never recieved a direct answer. Their responses were vague and left us more confused than ever. It's safe to say, they need to clarify their booking process. We ended up cancelling the whole event and was struggling to find another location. AVOID BOOKING HERE!!!! Very unprofessional and unacceptable!
My daughters swimming class got canceled for some technical reason and not notified in advance of the cancellation. Unexpected!
