The location is good, next to the grocery store.nWifi is very poornThe room was dirty when we arrived. In one of the rooms, there was a weed smell.nBut the price is low and corresponds to the condition of the hotel rooms.nIt's better used for a one night stand, because there is nothing to do in this village, it's a small and boring place.
We stayed at the Magnuson going in we had low standards given the price and that it’s a motel.nWe arrived around 10pm and got to our room and it was meh .. ok nothing spectacular, but again we knew that going in.nHusband pulled back his bed covers to find what appeared to be blood stains, along with streaky brown marks on the duvet and pillows. We called to get the bed changed out and were told we could do it our selves as there was no staff. So we got new sheets stripped the bed and re made it with our own bedding from camping.nBed #2 … appeared clean until we moved the pillows where it was covered in hair, dirt and more hair. We then remade bed #2 and proceeded to do the obligatory bed bug check. Surprisingly .. no bed bugs. But there were clumps of hair and nail clippings on the floor. Bathroom was filthy, yellow and moldy.nThey do allow pets, just not on the bed. Weird cause that would be the least of my worries staying there.nPros, they have a nice garden/patio area. Price seems we paid more than the going average rate for this hotel. We paid $150 as there was a $15 charge for the dog.nAll in all if you are absolutely desperate for a place to stay then go to the Magnuson. My recommendation is to stay clear until they figure out how to get their rooms at least someone cleaned. Staying in your car would be a better option. Fingers crossed we didn’t bring any extra bugs home with us.
Very clean, older motel, but super friendly/helpful attentive staff. Full kitchen, with plates, knives, etc for preparing food on the cooktop or just storing food in the full fridge, and an awesome center court with flowers, plants, waterfall and lil river, where you can sit around one of several tables and use the bbq provided.nVery affordable, right beside A and W, and next door to the grocery store, liquor store, dollar store and pot store!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, slept well, and were kindly supported by the folks at the Magnusun when we had to come back after our car broke down. Definitely recommend to folks coming through Creston, beautiful views of the valley and mountains.
Very clean spacious rooms. Excellent service. Lovely eating space with gorgeous flowers and a waterfall with koi fish.
