Downtowner Motor Inn

The Uptowner Motel was a great motel. The rooms were clean, and quiet and AC. It has a inner courtyard with a kitchenette and tables and couches to hang out in. It's centrally located along the main shopping street so there is food and shopping all within walking distance.nYou also might meet the friendly hotel calico catnAlso the price for the room was quite reasonable and the rooms have been recently renovated so very fresh and clean.nIt also has a hot tub with a sauna room attached.

Booked this online after seeing the good reviews, just needed for one night. When we pulled up I was hesitant I made the wrong choice as it looks somewhat rundown and like they are renovating the outside. However, I was pleasantly surprised inside the room with how clean and nice/ modern things looked. It has clearly been recently renovated inside and was perfect! There was complimentary shampoo/ conditioner in the shower which was very nice. I don’t typically stay at non brand hotels or even motels but this exceeded my expectations! Also has an amazing breakfast eatery across the street called buffalo trails coffee house

Exceptional Service! Our timing was slightly off when I called to book a room here however I was told one would be reserved. Unfortunately, it got snatched up prior to my arrival via Wikipedia. No worries though as I was informed ahead of time. Taken by surprise and I am very grateful that the owner graciously booked me a room elsewhere on her own dime. Couldn’t ask for more caring folks to look out for you while you’re on your first solo motorcycle trip.

Cons. No body wash or soap bar in the bathroom. No hair dryernnPros BEST coffee ever and available early in the morning. Very clean and we'll maintained. Comfortable, welcoming lounge area. The info booklet was helpful. We would come back!

I stayed here as a guest with my family because i was visiting for my Grandma passing away. Their air conditioner sounds like a vacuum with rocks in it. Their beds are super uncomfortable and don't properly fit box spring. The mattress hangs off. The window is not properly sealed and has bugs getting in. I had little sleep during my 3 day stay. Their plumbing is really bad. Toilet keeps getting clogged and random gurgling sounds can be heard. They also charged us $40 for mascara getting on 5 towels. I used two for my face. I have no idea where the alleged 5 came from. Mascara can easily be washed off. It can not cause stains like they are claiming. Would love to see their proof. Be careful using their towles. First time I seen a hotel do this. Reported them to BBB.
