Maggie's Diner

There's no shortage of breakfast places in Port Credit (Sunset Grill, Captain Robin's, etc.) but the newly opened Peter's is the best of the bunch. I've only been twice so far but will absolutely continue to make it my first choice. The Eggs Florentine are great and so are the home fries...the latter being among the best I've ever had. Nice, clean and modern interior (I should hope so for a recently opened place, but one never knows) not to mention really outstanding service. If there's one thing I find that most breakfast joints seem to lack, it's friendly service. I know that mornings aren't synonymous with cheerful, happy service but this is where Peter's really puts the other places to shame. My one minor quibble: no hot sauce on the table. Ketchup (ugh) but no hot sauce. I'm giving them five stars anyways, but if they want to hang on to that rating, I'd strongly advice them to put some Tabasco on the table waiting for me! :P ***Edit*** It's now called "Maggie's". Same place, same great food, new name.

Visited Maggie's for lunch yesterday - it was the most enjoyable experience. Maggie took the time to welcome us and ensure we were comfortable. The coffee was the best I have tasted anywhere. The meal was absolutely delicious, big portions, well presented, and the service was excellent. I will definitely go back again and certainly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed!!!

At it again! Amazing breakfast at Maggie’s diner. I love my omelettes and I like try different ones every time I go and I have never been disappointed. I especially like that Maggie takes the time to talk to us as if she’s known us for a long time. Very friendly. Thank you Maggie and staff for ones again an amazing breakfast

I recently visited Maggie’s diner with my husband and daughter and had a great experience. The food was fresh, delicious and came quickly. We were lucky enough to be served by Maggie and she was an absolute pleasure! I would highly recommend this diner to anyone and everyone. If you like great food, great service and need a place to eat..check them out!
