Came with a party of 6 adults. Place is very nicely decorated. Would be great to host parties here.nnA few things to note. They put plastic water bottles on the table and of course some people don’t realize it’s not free and open them. They charge you for them.nnThe food came out at a good time and was fresh and tasty.nnThe server was courteous. Although we had to ask a few times for more napkins and 3x for our cups to be filled with water. Maybe she was expecting or hoping us to open the water bottles? When she came with the pitcher, it only managed to fill some of the cups and she said “oh there’s no more water” and didn’t return to fill the last guests water cup. These two people were nursing.nnThe deceiving part was actually the dessert. It wasn’t super fresh. They displayed them as if they were filled with pistachio all the way through but were all hollow inside. See attached photos.
Let me start this by saying the vibe and hospitality of this place is beyond fabulous. The actual building aesthetic however looks like a service Ontario.nnSecondly, the food was incredibly aesthetic and beautiful visually.nnNow if we get to the actual food. If you really think about it. It’s literally basic ingredients that are placed in separate bowls. I suppose I’m just not a fan of the Turkish palette.nnNone the less - an enjoyable experiencennPro tip- don’t sit near the oven like I did.
We cane here in a group of 6 people on a Sunday brunch and ordered Traditional Turkish Breakfast. And since it wasn’t enough for all of us, ww ordered some side dishes like Menemen, Fried Egg, Simit, Fried Sujuk, and Sujuk & Halloumi Stick. We also ordered Turkish Tea and coffee. The breakfast was tasty and the service was decent, considering how busy the restaurant was.nThe staff were friendly and helpful.
I had a positive experience when I ordered treats and vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere was excellent, although the service was just average. However, I found the prices to be too high. Perhaps in the future, I will consider trying their food instead.
Sena was very welcoming to us. We loved the atmosphere of the cute bakery / cafe, this was a new experience for us.nWe had the Kazandibi & also had the Pistachio Dream along with Turkish tea which complimented the cold desserts nicely.nI would definitely love to come here again perhaps for breakfast to try their Menemen.
