Art and Curly, at Rona Waterloo West helped us out in a big way over the long weekend. Art helped us pick the best barbecue for our needs. Art took the time to thoroughly educate us on what makes a great barbecue, and answered all our questions expertly. Next, we worked with Curly, who went out of his way to ensure we made the best choices for dishwasher and fridge we will also be going back for a range. Curly gave us many valuable tips regarding the appliances, and took the time to explain the pros of all of the pertinent models. Curly set us up with an awesome protection plan for the new appliances, too. We had a very enjoyable experience with both Art and Curly as our shopping guides at Rona.
I was shopping at the Rona Boardwalk location may 27/24 for a BBQ/smoker for my son in law. I had the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!! A young man named Scott was so knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Scot patiently explained each Traeger model I was interested in.i get a discount at a competitor but because of Scott I purchased the Traeger smoker that day from Rona.Rona management I hope you are aware and appreciate Scott as he is an excellent employee! Thank you Scott for all your help! :
Just spent about an hour waiting for service, according to the cashier the people were paged. Three times! Then someone else came and said the lady that works in that department is not in today. And no one else could help.nRona's quality is acceptable, but their customer service is probably the worst in the big box store business
I had been looking for months on end for a very specific Range Hood to complete our kitchen renovation. I had called every practically every appliance store in Ontario and I was willing to drive to and get it. I can’t count how many stores I had called but the ones I did, showed they had one or two in stock. Not a single person at these stores was willing to do a physical check to see if their system was accurate. Every one would just say, “oh that’s most likely and error and we don’t have one.” This was frustrating toy say the least. Then I called this Rona and I was connected with Mike in the appliance department. I went through the same explanation, but the only difference is that he was actually willing to go and do a physical check. 10 minutes later my phone rings and it’s Mike with great news. He found it. It was there but just hidden and tagged with the wrong item number. It still had the Lowe’s itemnNumber on the box, but he found it. He went above and beyond. He had it pulled out and on a cart for me when I arrived to pick up the unit one hour later. Thank you Mike! I wish that there were more individuals that were willing to provide the level of service you did. I appreciate you and your efforts.
My partner and I went in today to look at some stains for a house project we’re doing. We had Peter helping us and he was absolutely amazing - so incredibly helpful & knew his stuff. He spent about 30 minutes with us to ensure we got the stain that we wanted - helping us with some sampling and answering our million questions, haha. Haven’t had such a good customer experience in a while.
