Great Mexican food with good pricing. "Yes, I want everything on my tacos." ...if I didn't I'd go to TacoBell. The service is fast enough but the little place can get crowded--four four-tops and a few stools at the counter. During lunch a lot of people will stand in the front waiting for to-go food.
I’ve come to this Resturant the past 3 days for breakfast burritos for my staff and they are closed EVERYTIME! They do not open at 8 and have no intention of being there at 9/10am. Either change schedules or come to work!
This Mexican restaurant has great food made fresh. Try the green sauce it is so good and adds to any dish. They have the best tacos the only problem with this place is they are closed on Sunday. If you want great Mexican food this is a great neighborhood place.
So, the food is decent, especially for the prices, but it is SUPER annoying that this place closes at random times. For example, it is 5:30 right now, I website says they're open until 8; the signs on the building say 6, but they are closed. If they are a "breakfast" place then they should make it more apparent. 3 stars lost for inconsistent service.
Great prices, food and fast and courteous service. What more could you ask for? These folks work hard every day and I'm happy to support them. My favorites are their tacos and tortas, specifically the pastor and steak. Their salsa is also incredible.
Low Toritos is one of my favorite Mexican food places in Chicago. Their food is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Their salsa is amazing! I once ate a whole tub of their salsa by myself. I love spicy food and their salsa brings some good heat!
Service was quick and the food was fresh and flavorful. I was a little bummed that the avocado was missing on my chilanga torta, but it tasted great even without it.
Been coming here regularly ever since the Tribune did a "best tacos" article and this was the only place north of Division Street to rate even a mention. Fresh and plentiful, the food here will never let you down.
I was drunk when I went to Los Toritos, and I got the food to go. Pros—The food was exactly what I wanted: savory and delicious. It was warm, tasted freshly made, and the provided hot sauce allowed me to adjust the heat up to an 8 of 10. It was made quickly, and the service was friendly. I think they're used to serving tipsy people with a bar next door. Cons—I'm going to have a difficult time not stopping there frequently, since it's on my way home.
The food is excellent! The prices have gone up a bit, but they're still reasonable. I Love it!!
