I love Spoken and the staff of Spoken with my entire freaking heart! Their service, kindness, and delicious food is unmatched! I come here about 2x a week and have yet to be met with anything besides lovely service by lovely humans. Their online ordering system is transparent and pretty seamless. The food is so good, and will leave you feeling like your grandma gave you the biggest hug and told you she was proud of you for choosing to feed yourself something so nice. Spoken is clearly conscious of the impact they provide from their transition to non-disposable to go cup service, utilizing compostable paper and tape to wrap food in, to the commitment to community they harness in their space. I’ve never written a love letter to a cafe before, but Spoken has inspired me to be bold- like their amazing house made chai blend in their Chai Lattes!
Bagel sandwich was good. Very messy with scrambled eggs on it. Would be better with a patty. Barely any Bagels to choose from due to them being busy. Was a good spot tho
I've been here a few times when I come downtown from the suburbs. All of the sandwiches I've had have been amazing! You can tell they use the best & freshest ingredients. I've been telling myself for 30 years that I don't like eggs; however I ordered a build your own breakfast sandwich WITH eggs since everything else I've had has been amazing, Figured I'd take the chance. Well... I now like eggs. Come here when looking for amazing food & to support a small business
This place was busy and for good reason. We all got different bagel sandwiches and loved them. The service was fairly quick but remember they were quite busy, and everyone was so kind and friendly. I cannot wait to go back and try some other menu items.
A forever favorite stop, both for the quality of delicious food and the warm energy of the incredible staff. They work so hard to take care of their community and their team, and the effort shows as soon as you walk into the space. As a longtime local fan, this is always one of the top #5 places I take visiting friends and fam. Their values, attention to detail, and love of flavor reflect everything I want to support in a small business!
Surprising amount of food options for such a small space. Only have been once but my food and coffee were great. They also have a reusable coffee mug program which seems pretty cool as well. Staff was friendly as well. Maybe not great for groups larger than 4 or 5 due to smaller footprint.
I had their raspberry mocha that they make in-house, and it was pretty amazing. Planning on going back to try their breakfast because they have a pretty solid selection. I also really love their reusable cup policy. Bottom line, I'll definitely be going back
Great place for sandwiches and coffee. They do run out of bagels and breads pretty regularly so you'll have to be flexible when ordering. The kitchen also seems to get bogged down easily so you are best served ordering around there busy times. Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options in the menu Parking: Paid street parking only, but generally not a problem
Great I asked someone that works there and she recommended me a cafe of Honey and lavender and OMG... Best coffee it was my first time there and wow the coffee was just delicious and what I needed something different and just right. I also had the everything bagel with cream cheese and chives very delicious as well. Will be going back. Vegetarian options: They have options which is good Wheelchair accessibility: No trouble at all a wheelchair fix's right through the door Dietary restrictions: You asked and they will let you know
Super friendly people. Always super busy, they have a great selection. They carry do-rite doughnuts and always have a few gluten free, and some other gf options. Don't love the gf bread but plenty of other things on the menu. They're trying to limit their environmental impact, don't have disposable cups anymore, wish more places made that the norm.
