Longo's Boxgrove

Always an exciting time for me when I realized one of my sales meetings is going to be close to Longo's. All I can say is a salad bar lunch is awesome. Always a wonderful selection fresh and well prepared.

I’m so disappointed in the bakery team, I asked for my cake to say “Congratulations Alex” and you can see for yourself what they wrote. If I’m trusting them with designing a special cake like that, I’m expecting it to be correct, it takes 2 seconds to google the spelling. It already looked like it was redone as there’s red icing smears all over. Do better Longos.

I’m very disappointed with deli meats section of this location. I have my own restaurant, with full heart when you serve any kind of food for customers. Bunch of Kids are are working with full of attitude. If you don’t know how to present yourself in front of public then why do you choose to work in this field. Literally I’m going to through this into my garbage bin. I was there 30 mins to 9pm which is almost closing time. I think she started to cleaning the cutters, didn’t even feel like taking my order. I was there more than 5 mins., she knew that I’m waiting to place an order. She already sprayed the cutter, I don’t think she cleaned it well. I’m not 100% comfortable to give this to my kid

Definitely agree with some of the recent reviews. I’ve been going to this location for many years and today the customer service stood out to me in a negative way. Mentioned by someone else, Weekend service is not so great. Associate rushed to check out. Did not ask me for my loyalty card, did not ask me if I wanted bags, has to repeatedly ask, wanted to pay with a gift card, he just assumed I was paying another way. Did not offer to help bag the items. Top it off, he overcharged me. Charged me twice and only bought one. Realised this when I got home while reviewing receipt, had to drive all the way back just to get it fixed. The associate at the returns was nice. Will reduce my shopping here giving the last experience.

Why hang the scale this location? I m 180cm height. having those other products right infront of it. it cant hardly to reach. I saw few other older senior having hard time to reach it or cant reach it at all. No digital scale at all and hang the scale which hardly for customer to use. what is the poin to have it.

This store used to be so much better run. As someone whose worked in retail my entire life and has been shopping here for a decade, I know this store isn’t being run well anymore. The amount of staff on weekends is ridiculous! Wait times are so much longer and by the time I get to the cash the cashiers are exhausted and miserable. I had to start coming on weeknights to get good quick service because weekends are insane! They have maybe 3-5 people behind the service counters, trying to serve about 100people. Don’t get me started about the meat service counter that closes earlier than the store! And the cash lineups are always insane because they don’t have enough staff. This store needs a complete changeover. Management needs a wake up call so they don’t lose loyal customers such as myself.

Rotten Pomegranates I have been coming to this location for past 5 years - had my first encounter with the Produce Manager: turned out to be horrible. I picked 2 Pomegranates yesterday from a bin and they looked ok on the outside. But after cutting them next day, BOTH pomegranates are rotten - one quite a bit rotten - see attached photo. So I went back to the store and get a refund. While the refund was straightforward, I wanted to talk to the produce manager to warn about this batch. Chances of both being rotten likely indicate there is an issue with the batch. The producer manager came over older gentleman - he insisted that the whole batch must be fresh. I just politely asked for them to check a few to avoid others getting the same bad products. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave me a 'no way' look, and they are fresh, and..walked away. Such 'awesome' customer service, not even an apology. Having this guy as produce manager after a warning from customer like that really speaks volumes about this store management...

The customer experience at this location, provided by Scott, the store manager was absolutely incredible! I teared up when I left the store because I felt highly valued, not only as a human being, but also as a customer - who also happens to shop at this location every now and then. Scott, I just wanted to send you a HUGE ‘Thank You’! Please continue to be who you are; an amazing person and manager! #problemsolver

I came to this location few times for some grocery. Its clean and organized. I purchased cake from bakery once a year and every time I said this taste off. However, tonight was worst. Cake was so dry and thin and each layer was full of 1 inch icing layer and the icing didnt taste good either. I will definitely not buy bakery from here again. Try bakery from vaughan longos, it's the best!

Me and my daughter went to this store to get a cake for my wife’s birthday, but unfortunately they didn’t have red Velvet cake which my wife love a lot. When we are looking for other choices, the staff Yana told us she can quickly check inside the freezer to see if they have red Velvet cake or not. Just a couple of minutes later she came with a red velvet cake and wrote the happy birthday message on the cake for us. She don’t need to go and check at the back, but still she checked it for us. Yana’s customer service skills way beyond our expectations! Thanks Yana for your exceptional customer service and you know how to keep your customer happy! You’re definitely deserve a 5
