This is one of the best grocery stores in Markham. Very clean, organized, staffed and the prices are not bad. Large store with a large selection of foods including an Asian/South Asian mix which is fantastic. Large parking lot so parking is easy and the number of exits/entrances make getting in or out easy. Well located so you can take a major road or if you live around here your favourite shortcut. After spending time at Markville mall you can round off your day by picking up your groceries and then heading home.

The store is relatively, clean. But for the prices the store should be much cleaner. Seems a little unorganized also in terms of the layout. The cashiers are professional and friendly. Produce is fresh but meat department needs work. Bakery is good with lots of fresh choices. Hours of operation are also very convenient. When purchasing a cake from the bakery counter please give us the option to purchase the chocolate disk . I was told that the disk is reserved for specific cakes. When I offered to purchase the chocolate disk I was told that this was not an option. The server was very good and gave me the disk with my cake, but this should never happen with such a big name store.

I had to come to the store today to buy some snacks for my kids, and I did not really know what kids eat nowadays. I approached one of the store workers and he introduced himself as Ryan B. He was pleasantly helpful in helping me in my grocery shopping, as we spent a good hour looking around for some snacks for my children. He kindly advised me of the different common allergies I should be aware of, and gave me a variety of options as I was doing my shopping. After we spent an hour together, we decided to get the Golden Grahams Cereal Smores bars. I brought them home to my kids, and little to my knowledge, it was a much desired pick as they have seen other kids at school bring them. I would recommend Ryan B, to anyone who is looking for exceptional customer service, and a personable character.

Bought some discounted items, because they are about to be expired in next couple months, however the prices are still beatable by FreshCo. I got some expired chocolates home from this location (I didn't check the expiry date ahead, my bad, or I don't expect the big brand would have expired items on shelves).. the return service was fine if there's not too crowded. There are more choices of Joe's at Vaughn Mills shopping mall.

Good prices. Self checkout is very easy. Great variety of freshly prepared foods, groceries, prepackaged foods, clothing, appliances and other household items. Good life located inside. Good location overall.
