Sunny Supermarket

This is a great place to shop for groceries.. they have a shelf below where they throw discount stuff or vegetable in there.. My family members love this place.. hot food and bubble tea ..are great.. Lots of Variety from India .. Lost 1 star because one creep worker ..started following me ..instead of letting me know right away no taking pictures in store . . I told him there is 700 photos on Google review .. and on top of that ..im giving them giving a review... he just kept saying no photo .. watever .. All in all a good clean place..to shop

I bought my lunch from here Today. I paid only 9$ for this big portion of mixed Vegetables fried rice with one side of fried fish and 1 pop! It tasted very good. I am giving 3 stars the choices were limited. most dishes still not cooked yet although it's lunch time.

I was searching Labban Lassi since many days, here in Markham Canada. As you know, I came from Qatar and my kids love to drink Labban but unfortunately I didn't find it since 3 months. And luckily, yesterday found at Sunny Foodmart. Feeling excited and Happy too. If you are searching for Pakistani Shan masalay or any other Pakistani product, you can buy from here easily because many brands are available here including Halal meat too.

Clean store, friendly staff and cashiers. Meat department and bakery prices are decent. Their packaged, canned food and dairy is regularly on the higher side better deals at No Frills and Walmart. Their fruits and veggies are horribly priced. I was there last week and regular non "organic" bananas were selling for $1.25/lb. A small head of iceberg lettuce was $6.99 each. Not my first stop for groceries.

This place is horrible! I'll never shop here again!! Two weeks ago late in the afternoon, we went to this supermarket to grab some deli to take home for dinner. The lady at the deli filled our order with less than 70% of what other supermarkets would offer. The take out box was loose with a lot of space. My dad was saying how little the portion looked, and the lady responded that their food was different, because it tasted better and better quality.. and then she laughed right after she said that, because she didn't even believe what she said. I didn't say anything and just paid, because I just wanted to go home. The other thing was that we picked up the order around 6pm, other supermarkets would've had markdowns, but not for Sunny Foodmart! Yesterday, we went to a different supermarket, they filled the take out box so full that she had to push the box lid down. Just want to warn others not to shop at Sunny Foodmart. Everything is super overpriced. Go shop elsewhere like First Choice or even TnT, same price but better quality and won't get ripped off.

good variety of ethnic products, lots of good deals!

I got here a little after 8. There wasn't much choice of vegetables. Meat department wasn't open. But I was able to get most of what I needed. But I suggest going later if you need to get all your groceries.

This place always has what I need - they carry all Asian products from the Far East and South & Central Asia. If you come prepared with a list of what you want, then you’ll have a easy time. If you’re going to run around the store with all 20 members of your extended family like South Asian people normally LOVE to do then you’ll have a horrible experience. Just saying it like it is…

They have a Halal section and is also very busy. It's not that cheap bit often has protions but reasonably priced. Good collection of different fish and produce.

Love the variety of ethnic foods you get here, which includes snacks, fruits etc. It is also kept very clean and organized , which unfortunately is not the case with many ethnic stores. This location has 2 meat houses in case you have a halal or non-halal preferences. There also is a “food court” with lots of food options, bubble tea and desserts. You should be able to find any specific ethnic food here if you’re cooking Asian or Indian.
