I had the most incredible ribs and my wife had the steak fajitas…so good! Saddle beans were a nice side as was the caesar salad with dried noddle croutons. The house-made tortilla chips are always a nice start and my wife likes the large virgin margaritas with salted rims. Our server Louisiana was really friendly and accommodating, checking in with us multiple times. Banjo the manager was incredible as well. 11/10 great service!
Had the chance to dine-in here over the weekend along with a big group of friends. Aside from the friendly server and the cleanness of the store, this place has scored 0 in terms of food quality and taste! I have tried the place previously, and things were not ‘as bad’, but all food lacked taste, presentations, and portion! For the price you’re paying, the look and feel of the place, you would expect a better product! We’ve tried the nachos, fajita, wings, burgers, none of it clicked unfortunately.. I do not see this place hanging around for long unfortunately!
Saturday dinner and the place is poppin I think staff were in training as almost all staff were doubled up, my sympathies to the restaurant business as front line staff are difficult to find and turnover probably disrupts their customer service levels. Front reception staff were slow to acknowledge our entrance/reservations, were going to give us a center table although many booths were still available, once objection was raised they were flexible enough to switch us over to a booth. TV screens on all walls showing various sports giving this restaurant a sports bar type vibe If you're a pickle lover, you must try their salty pickle Margarita, sounds weird but it's delicious Steak Fajitas, meat grilled nicely on top of onions and peppers served on a sizzling platter Chicken enchiladas plentiful.although could have used more salsa/dressing Loved the sizzling apple crumble with caramel sauce for dessert Great dinner, walked away very satisfied
We had the three person fajita plate. It tasted good, but I think feeding 3 people on it was a little optimistic. Yes veggies were free, but I have never heard of veggie fajitas. Still, it definitely tasted good, but the tortillas were too doughy. Our waitress was great.
Service was good, accommodated request to avoid high top tables, without question. Complimentary chips and salsa still at thing which was nice. Tried their watermelon lemonade, non-alcoholic-tart and sweet, refreshing during a heatwave weekend! We all had ribs or fajitas, ribs were especially a hit at the table.
It was a dinner we had and the food was delicious. It's Chicken Chimichanga that I ordered and it was plentiful. Diamond our host did caution me and she was absolutely right. So I would say, we can go by what they suggest. The lemonades were good too. There are whole lot of options in here including Nashville chicken. Definitely would suggest for others. It seems to be good for team lunch occasions too.
Haven’t been to a Lone Star since before the pandemic. We had the ribs which were just as we remembered. Tasty fall off the bone. Service was good, we had a pleasant in person visit.
Standard basic chain food. Not much to rave about. This is more of a sports bar where you have low expectations for the food. We wanted to watch the Jays game but the manager said the remote has been broken for a while and they're waiting for a replacement. So it's not even that good at being a sports bar. The ribs are pretty good and they give you unlimited tortilla chips, which is nice.
My wife loves ordering from Lonestar, specifically their chicken fajita kits and we have ordered here often enough from before covid and during. To make things easier tonight, being new years eve, I thought I would also order my meal here tonight as well. I ordered steak enchiladas with a side of the tortilla soup and guacamole as an addon. When I arrived before the pickup time I was not surprised that the order was not yet ready. There were about 6 other people already there and waiting. Not only did I have to wait a half hour which is a bit excessive, when I got home I noticed there was no guac for my order. I noted that my wife's order of fajitas always comes with guac and there was one small container of it so either my other was screwed up or hers was. I cut open the enchiladas just to check if they might have been included in them but there was none to be found. To add on guac it costs $1.99 and I would assume when it's an addon it should be even more obvious to double check it's inclusion. In addition, we noticed that the food was basically completely cold. We live about a 10 minute drive away and being new years eve around 8pm there were barely any cars so there was no reason for that. The funny part is before I arrived home I was thinking after waiting for so long at least the food would have been freshly made and warm. There was literally no hint of any warmth in any of the food and seemed almost like it may as well have been sitting there when I had initially arrived. Honestly quite disappointed.
Oh boy. Let's start with the good. Friendly service, clean place, lots of ambiance! Now the bad. It was really jam packed, it took us half an hour to get seated, then over half an hour to get our food, I ordered my steak rare and when it arrived it was cold. Now the ugly, they gotaa our orders wrong the 1st time so we had to wait more. Three waiters dropped full trays of food while serving. Would go back, maybe
