This doctor is the worst doctor in Edmonton.like someone said on here he doesn’t care,This is so true went to him like a month ago for couple things told him i was corona positive and since than i started having chest pain.he didn’t even send me for any test or anything.He didn’t care at all. Today i booked an appointment for 3.40 because I wanted to go ask him that i want to get some tests done since my chest pain is not going away. I was there on time waited and waited in that cold room .At around 4.35 i heard him going to the other patient when it was my turn. I got out and the receptionist started saying doctor you missed a patient and he didn’t even care.I said you know what this is like every time this doctor is always an hour late. He always look tired and sleepy and i left. And the receptionist was just standing there smiling. Doctor didn’t even come out to check what’s going on. My message to the doctor is please DON’T BOOK SO MANY APPOINTMENTS IF YOU CAN’T KEEP UP. IT’S NOT NICE THAT YOU ALWAYS MAKE US WAIT FOR AN HOUR.or maybe you should just tell your patients to come an hour late for their appointments.Because there’s no way you will see them on time. SUCH A POOR SERVICE FROM THIS DOCTOR,I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOCTOR Dr. Ekanem.
If I could give 0 stars I would .. the doctor here is very unprofessional. Doesn't seem to care about patients needs actually, taking too many people at once. No proper management of time , Receptionist needs to learn on managing patients over crowding the doctor with patients ,then making him utter slurs in the waiting area and becoming frustrated and fed up which cause you the patient not being treated properly.. I wouldn't waste my time going here again the atmosphere itself is chaotic. As writing this it's 6:42pm they close at 5pm still 4 patients waiting to be seen .
Dr Ekanem, I'm sure wishes we wouldn't bother him to much. He can't make appointments with specialists and doesn't really care about people if they complain about the lack of concern for their health. They just hang up
This is the worst doctor office ever! I waited here 1.5 hours The doctor was really rushing and spoke with a condescending tone. Please do not come here!
New to the area I made an appointment for a meet and greet with Dr Ekanem at 2pm. I arrived 10 minutes early to complete the paperwork. The MOA's were both friendly and professional. At 2.30 I was shown to an exam room. At 2.50 the doctor had still not arrived. I asked how much longer? She wasn't sure. The room was left open as it was hot. The senior MOA walked past at 3pm and said he would be with me soon. I waited until 3.10pm at which time I thanked the staff and left. It is worth noting there were no patients in the waiting room on my arrival and 2 arrived after my scheduled appointment time. Whilst I expect a delay in seeing the doctor, a 1 hour 10 minute delay is unacceptable.
Dr Ekanem is literally the best Doctor you’ll ever come across in this lifetime. It’s a very comfortable environment and you can talk to him naturally without feeling intimidated. He’s been my doctor for over 7 years I followed him wherever he goes no matter how far I have to drive. He literally saved my life . I appreciate having him as my family doctor.
This place is great! Warm and inviting staff. They are always attentive to your needs when you come in the door and make sure you are welcomed with a smile :. Dr.Ekanem is thorough and easy to talk to. His expertise is extremely evident. His team fully supports him and the whole experience is quick and as painless as possible. I highly recommend this place as long as it doesn’t become too crowded lol. Maybe the province will recognize this place and upgrade the facility if that happens, who knows!
The doctor is very gentle and respectful personne. Unfortunately for the lady Munira, the receptionist that is unhelpful personne. She never can solve anything and block any process to the patient. That's why I'm thinking seriously to change my family doctor. I really sorry for Dr Ekanem, if this kind of people continue working with him. She is driving away the patients.
Dr Ekanem, is one of a kind. The front staff is also great. Highly recommend
The doctor was an hour late for work. I will NEVER go to this place ever again. Totally incompetence!
