Smoke and Anchor

Always enjoy their sandwiches, fries and beer on their patio. This year, their menu changed a bit - but they continue to have their classic pulled pork sandwich. My daughter is sad they no longer make the kids grilled cheese sandwich. This actually reduced the frequency of our visits. Whenever we hit the fisherman’s wharf, our daughter used to be the first to always ask to eat at Smoke and Anchor.

The rosemary garlic fries is my favourite fries! It is super delicious! I remember the first time after COVID-19 to eat out, the moment I bite the fries, I could not believe, feel like in the heaven!!!

Yup pretty much the best BBQ place in Victoria, tasty brisket, phenomenal bratwurst, great quality food, fun and friendly staff plus, great service and a great location, the best place to eat when you are on the wharf. Great place to sit and enjoy your meal while preparing to explore the wharf area, lots of stuff to see and experience.

Everything here was super tasty! Buttermilk chicken sandwich was crispy and flavorful the aioli really made the sandwich, the almond avocado one was tasty as well! And the poutine was excellent. Lots of herbs in the gravy reminded me of gravy from Thanksgiving dinner! I will definitely be going back!

Seared Wild Tuna sandwich is AMAZING! Also ordered their poutine and it was really good. Probably gonna go there again before we leave for sure!

I was the first customer of the day! The seared tuna was awesome and perfect for a hot day by the beach. Food is on point today.

Great sandwiches and good prices for the amount of food for such a touristic spot. The staff was great and the service was fast. You should give it a try when you visit the warf.

The sausage and avocado breakfast sandwich is amazing. Literally the best hungover decision I've ever made at 10AM. I'll be coming back for sure.

Delicious food, friendly staff, nice patio. Fries on their own are great, poutine is excellent, poutine with pork, brisket or chicken is unreal. Have never been disappointed, highly recommended. Only complaint is I can't stop throwing my money at them

Amazing place! We weren’t sure at first where to eat this evening but we walked past this place and thought to give it a try. Now we will go here every time we are in town. I got the wild tuna sandwich and my husband the brisket sandwich. They were both fantastic! Great flavors, and texture. We also shared the poutine fries, completely yummy! This is the best place in Victoria, hands down. Eat here, grab a beer and be in amazement.
