Locks of Dogs & Treats

I will attempt to describe how awesome these people are. I was here a month ago and I showed up 10 minutes before they opened but that was okay. The owner and her daughter welcomed me in, saying that customers pay their wages, so they're happy to open their doors. We chatted. A regular came in and the banter was pleasant and familiar. The hotdog was filling and just... right. I'm here, a month later for another event. Again I'm a few minutes early but this time, I decide to go back to my car and wait. As I get to my car the daughter (whose name I can't remember, regrettably) approaches me to say that they're having trouble with their refrigerator and they would be closed for the day. She literally came outside and around the building because she remembered me and knew I'd be back in town. The world is full of people who do good; as far as customer service goes, these ladies are worth meeting. I'm so glad I stopped in.

Great big loaded up and delicious hot dogs. Friendly, helpful staff. Great way to get some calories after a hike in the gorge!

Amazing vegetarian dogs, in addition to the standard all beef. My son really digs the Dirty Italian with vegan chili. I can't pick a favorite... because it's all great. Delicious ice cream too, also with vegan options. The best of all, though, are the friendly people who run the place :)

A very nice and homey restaurant or fast-food. The lady who ran the diner was very friendly and very courteous. She love to talk and she even mentioned some of the regulars that come in. You get nice big portions and especially when we ordered ice cream you don't get these tiny little Scoops you get big scoops of ice cream real ice cream. Come and visit this place you will enjoy it.
