Cougar Bar & Grill

Small bar and restaurant with local decor and flavor. I stopped in after spending some time on the Mount Saint Helen's trails, and I tried the Volcanon burger, which had lots of cheese and jalapenos! The staff on site was great and they even let me dry my soaking wet jacket by their stove while I ate.

Really great place. I've been there three times now and the food is good quality. If you're looking for a good meal before (or after) you climb Mt. St Helens, go to Cougar Bar and Grill. You won't find anything better in town.

Well it finally got bad it’s a real bummer to. I’ve been going to this restaurant for at least 20 years it’s changed ownership once or twice but the food was always decent (for out in the middle of nowhere) over the last 6 months the quality has gone downhill and the service has followed and they don’t like their customers good luck with your business I know me and at least 10 other people won’t be returning

Slow service. Other tables served before us when we were there before them. Finished our food quickly as we needed to continue our drive, and other tables were cashed out before us. We waited 20 minutes for our bill. Really felt like walking out! I'm sure that would have gotten there attention!
