Story

Thunder Island Brewing Company is an adventure-based small batch brewery that is handcrafting creative and innovative beers in the Pacific Northwest. Based out of the city of Cascades Locks, forty-three miles east of Portland, Thunder Island Brewing makes original beers inspired by a love for outdoor adventures, with a nod to local history and with a respect for all that the scenic Columbia River Gorge has to offer.

The food is nicely priced, and the brownie and nachos are so good! It feels like a piece of Portland's food scene was brought out here, and I'm really glad it did. We went to Multnomah fall's and then went here, its been a happy beautiful day. The cider was yummy too.

This place was an awesome find for a quick lunch stop in Cascade Locks. We came from a quick hike in Latourell Falls, and wanted a beer and a bite to eat to recharge before hitting Cape Horn Overlook. The staff was super friendly, the beer was pretty good (recommend the IPA or the vanilla bourbon porter), and the food was just right. Looked like the perfect place to hang in the summertime, would recommend to all

The Peach Ginger Cider would make a genius BBQ sauce... Make room for the new imperial lineup! Marionberry Cider, Stout, Rye IPA, and then there's the view. The historic land bridge replaced by the bridge of the gods looms above the shade of the Doug firs, and the Columbia River lulls by ebbing in whirlpools! Gulls and Bald Eagles float soaring overhead, Shiva would be pleased.

the staff is extremely friendly and kind. the beer is terrific. a great view of the Columbia River. 5 star service all around.

Great stop along the Gorge! Friendly staff, really good beer, nice selection. I got the Spaghetti&Meatballs after a 40mile cold ride. Seriously one of the Best I've ever had, Great sauce!
