We are a locally owned restaurant & tap house. Our menu will feature gastropub offerings.

Story

Red Bluff Tap House will be open for lunch and dinner service in Stevenson, Washington. We will be offering a selection of Northwest brews, wines, and locally crafted spirits.

The lunch menu will feature a gastropub selection pairing with our taps, featuring Northwest breweries. Our dinner menu will feature upscale dishes, with wine and cocktail pairings. Both menus will be focused on accommodating a variety of dietary needs.

Owners, and community members, Shawn and Tina Van Pelt, are committed to creating a family friendly atmosphere. Red Bluff Tap House is committed to adding to an already strong tradition of hospitality, in Stevenson, Washington. The Van Pelts have entrusted General Manager, Kevin Trachsel, and Executive Chef, Erin LeDoux, to lead a team of industry professionals.

Our focus is to use the vast resources offered by the Columbia River Gorge to create a personalized dining experience. Prioritizing excellent service to add to the great food and ambiance.

Cute little place across from the grocery store.nnWe came in with a group of 8 on a Sunday around 3 PM and were seated within a couple minutes. Street parking was easy to find. Menus and water arrived quickly, but after that service slowed down quite a bit — we waited close to 10 minutes before anyone came back, and we almost considered leaving.nnOne thing we didn’t love was that the drink menu was only available through a QR code and didn’t include prices, so we had to ask about them separately.nnThere was also a small mix-up with the food when a vegetarian diner was served mac and cheese with bacon, though thankfully it was caught before anyone ate it.nnThe sweet potato fries were really good, and the bulgogi beef fries were a standout. The fish tacos were just okay. For drinks, the Bochi Bochi beer was average, but the peanut butter porter on the second round was much better.nnThe restroom appeared clean, and overall it was a decent experience with a few service hiccups.
Ended up here in accident and incredibly happy we did.nnFood was phenomenal. Absolutely delicious. I got the Katsu Chicken Sandwich and my Husband got the Gouda Burger. Everything was perfect. We were in food heaven sharing our meals.nnI got a lemonade and my husband got a beer. Literally me only complaint was that my lemonade tasted like powdered lemonade. Which was weird because they obviously put a lot of thought and care into making the food.nnStaff was awesome as well. All in all a great experience and would absolutely go again next time. I am in town.
Really great food. Wish there was more appetizer options on the menu, small dish/vegetable etc. Queso was very tasty as well as the burger.
The steak fries and steak bites are perfect. Had them twice now and cant wait to return for more. I had multiple drinks and they slapped. Favorite place in the area went to most surrounding bars
The restaurant is located in the heart of Stevenson. We walked in and was seated within mins. The wait wasn't long since there were only two or three tables that were occupied. At first we were excited to eat the food we order, but after a couple bites, we became disappointed. The food such as their fries, chips among others were very salty and certainly not good for people who have medical concerns. The poke was warm, the combination of red cabbage slaw, kim chi, cilantro, sesame oil/seeds and very salty peppered restaurant made chips didn't taste good... The fish tacos were salty as well.nThe chefs should reduce using a lot of salt overall so it won't negatively affect people's pallet and health.
