Great hike north of Vancouver. Excellent loop with variety in the hikes. Can go straight down to the lighthouse for an easy mostly flat hike or take one of the side loops for some great variety in terrain and views. Some beautiful tall grass flanking sides of some sections, great stairs, gorgeous cut logs opening the path and amazing sights from the lookouts. Went on new years day with friends and snacked at every lookout taking an easy walking pace. Was a great trip. Tight parking and busy area on weekends so be prepared to shark for a spot or come on an off day.

This is one of my favourite parks in West Vancouver because there is many trails to choose from. It is impossible to get bored with this park. It is best to avoid the main trail down the middle to the lighthouse. Look for the trails to the east and west of the parking lot. To the east of the parking lot is the Arbutus trail that leads down to eagle point and around to starboat cove and east beach. To the west of the parking lot is the Jupiter point loop trail and shore pine trail with some nice views from rocky cliffs. If you have a few hours, you can walk down one side of the park and back up the other side. There is also the nice summit trail and songbird meadow which is an old theatre.

There are several hiking path, I didn't explore all of them because I was looking for the beach close to the lighthouse. It's an awesome place to see nature, sea wildlife and big birds such as eagles! The bus 250 goes there from Vancouver central, the last ride its for sure after 8pm since I've stayed until the end of sunset!

Amazing park, forest and rocky hilltops and beaches. Many secluded spots where you can pretend there are no other people on earth. On clear days, great view of Vancouver and the ships in the inlet.

I really love this park, there is plenty of parking so you won't have a problem for sure if you drive and it's not the most popular spot so it's never super crowded, even during peak season. The trails are very nice, during all seasons. There are quite a few spectacular views of the coast and a very wonderful view of downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park. This trail is also dog friendly, which is always a plus.
