Pads are a little tight with little to no privacy. Standard rates. Good Sam member. Location is excellent. Royal Centre is a ten minute walk. Beautiful views and beaches nearby. Stanley Park and downtown are just across the Lionsgate bridge which is right beside the campsite. Pool seasonal, jacuzzi, laundry. No store on site but amenities close by
Urban campground easily accessible from highway 1. Facilities were clean and tidy. Affordable laundry. Pool and hottub on site both clean.nI read some of the reviews before going and I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out. I can say I think those individuals had extremely high expectations. We are from the prairies and this was a 10/10 campground.nWater pressure was high, water was clean and potable. Full hookups at the site what more could you ask for?nYes I did see one rat, we were walking around quite a lot at night and didn’t see the campground overrun or anything like that.nThe garbage was maintained and tidy.nThe only criticism we had is that the sewer connections aren’t tight and you have to use the rock to secure your hose and smell the fumes coming out of the sewer connection.nOther than that security was visible and doing their jobs.nNot one reason we wouldn’t return. We felt it was fair price for Vancouver and area. Great job Capilano.nPs the view is from the lionsgate bridge at night right beside the campground
This beautiful park is located in North Vancouver within a short easy walk to transit as well as a really nice shopping mall. There is a walking/biking path at the entrance to the park so great for dog walking, running or biking. Also a dog park on site, great addition. We stayed here for 1 week in late June into July, there is just nothing I can say bad about this place, they worked with my changed schedule and provided me with assistance with everything I requested. Laundry is affordable and super clean as are restrooms, pool and spa is beautiful, staff are amazing and price is more than reasonable for a spot in the city. I would stay here again simply because they checked all the boxes, loved it here.
The campground has a fantastic location right by the river, which makes it a special place to stay. The sites are a bit small, but still manageable. We also enjoyed using the pool – it was good, even if it could have been a little cleaner.nnBecause of the river and the salmon season, combined with everyone preparing food outdoors, we did notice some rats around. It’s not ideal, but also somewhat understandable given the natural setting.nnOverall, the location makes this campground worth considering, especially if you want to be close to the river, stanly park and the city.
Stayed here for 6 nights at the end of our coast to coast RV trip. Friendly welcome and hot showers for the whole time we were there. All facilities working apart from a couple of ladies toilets but no queues. Site was kept clean and very easy access by bus to downtown Vancouver every 15 minutes or so even till late in the night
