It's quiet and clean. I think it's all you could want in a city campground. Showers are clean and well organized. There is a patrol I believe all night to keep the campers safe. I recommend it to enjoy north vancouver and is easy access and close to vancouver and really close to Stanley Park. Excellent trails to the ocean. Also you can walk or bike to all modern amenities within 10min. It's like it's own city all in one. Enjoy!!
We went there with our travel trailer.nYes, as some people mentioned, spaces are tight, but when you go to RV park in Vancouver, what do you expect?nnFriendly and helpful staff, nice pool and hot tub, big bathrooms and showers.nnThe only thing was when I got to my spot there was no picnic table.nBut I'm sure there was extra somewhere that I could probably get one easy enough. I didn't bother.nnWe had a bit of emergency situation during the stay, but again, staff were amazing trying to accommodate my situation.nnI would definitely go back again
Excellent and central location of staying for several nights.nn20 minutes to downtown Vancouver, right on bike trails which many were using and right on the highway for a day trip to Horseshoe Bay, Squamish or Whistler.nnRight by Lionsgate bridge so some noise traffic but pick your spot right. Also, you are very close to neighbours. Small lots.nnUsed the laundry facilities, worked great and nice equipment.nnWould recommend.
We stayed for two nights and every aspect of our experience was excellent! Checked in after a long drive. The gate office attendant was courteous and helpful. We were able to buy ice and get into our site, then head to the pool and jacuzzi before they closed at 9pm. The pool area, lounge, bathrooms, and laundry were all clean and well kept. Our kids liked the little playground. We did laundry and the machines were new and efficient.nnYes, the sites are narrow. Yes, this an urban campground. You will hear highway noise. It’s just below the Lions Gate bridge. But the access to Ambleside and West Van, stretches of pathways, public transit, the bridge and Stanley Park, and Park Royal Mall is terrific!! And at the time of our visit, we found this campground to be clean, well appointed, and well run. We’d gladly return.
Great spot for a home base while exploring the city of Vancouver. Close to Stanley Park and ferry. A mall is a 5 min walk away with a dollar store in the same location.nStaff are great, the grounds are clean and accommodating to most if not all needs.nWe will return, thanks for the stay.
