John Lawson Park

A beautiful park for all. The park is mainly flat with big green area. A good kids playground is on the west side of the park. The washrooms are nearby the playground.nIt's a good place watching the cruises leaving Vancouver on weekends. An area is good for a stroll or taking some nice pictures.nMany families are use this park as the family gathering on weekends. They bring many food and cook while in the park.nIt's not getting too crowd even on weekends.nWe go there on Canada Day 2025. This is the first time we see so many people coming out for the celebration. It's a happy day.nThe ladies washrooms are always a long long line up in an events' days like Canada Day.

Good landscape but in my opinion, not too much options for lunch or dinner. But is perfect for take pictures and relax in the day.nPlayground for kids is excelent.nFor walking in the morning also is pretty good.

Peaceful and quite place but with vibrant movement of relaxing people who are looking for a piece of peace.

Wonderful park with beach, green space, and playground. More relaxed and family friendly compared with the Ambleside next door.nnThe area has beautiful community gardens and arts galleries nearby and walking distance to many posh eateries and cafes. Lots of free parking spots available.
